Project description:

ISPA-Project for the complete demolition of the existing WWTP Resita and reconstruc-tion and the extension of the WWTP (~ 125,000 PE) incl.:

• New construction of the mechanical treatment stage

• New construction of the intermediate pumping station

• New construction of the two-stage-acti-vated-sludge process

• New construction of the aeration tanks as cascade denitrification tanks

• New construction of the final sedimenta-tion

• New construction of 2 digesters with 1,550 m³ volume each and a central mixer

• New construction of a combined heat and power plant (CHP) with a total capacity of 1 MWel.

• New construction of the sludge drainage

• Reconstruction of the existing preliminary sedimentation to a stormwater retention tank
