Suggested List of Work For Week of 27 th April 2020 Class: Junior Infants
Normally, Active SCHOOL Week takes places during April. This year that’s not possible so we are reaching out to you to ask for your help with the Active HOME Week challenge. We are challenging all our students to try and complete as close to 60mins of physical activity every day. Pick and choose from the choice board below and keep an eye on our Facebook page for more ideas.
Monday Handwriting: Letter 'b' Click on this link, find letter, watch the formation video and complete the tracing activity. Form the letter 'b' in sand/a zip lock bag with paint in it/on someone's back or hand. Rainbow write the letter 'b'. Make the letter 'b' with playdough. Tuesday Phonics : 'v' - See video on Class Dojo. Complete 'v' pg 51 in Sounds Make Words or online. Click on the link and complete the sound and letter discrimination activities. Friday Blending: Words for the week are from word box 6 and some cvc words.(consonant, vowel. consonant).These may be in your small envelopes if not you can make them with your sounds flashcards. *Remember - when you see two letters with the same sound together e.g. ck, you only need to say the sound once.
