Definition: Web Conference
Web conferencing refers to a service that allows conferencing events to be shared
with remote locations.
Defintion: Webinar
The term webinar is short for Web-based Seminar, a presentation, lecture, workshop or seminar that is transmitted over the Web.
It’s a type of web conference!
Definition: Webcast
A webcast is a media file distributed over the Internet using streaming media
technology to distribute a single content source to many simultaneous listeners/
viewers. A webcast may either be distributed live or on demand. Essentially, webcasting is
“broadcasting” over the Internet.
