Philadelphia Infant Toddler Early

Intervention 2019-20 requirements

As noted in last week’s issue, all Philadelphia Infant

Toddler Early Intervention (PITEI) personnel need to

complete TLC’s new eLearning course, Parents’

Rights and Strengthening Local Dispute Resolution,

and the University of Utah’s online modules on tele-

intervention. Registration is available here.

Registration for “Foundations of Early Intervention”

and “Competency” courses that were in progress or

were not yet started when in-person programs were

suspended in March, is open. Before the class date,

registrants will receive an Internet link they will use to

sign in to the meeting. Once you log in at the course

time, you will participate in a live, instructor-led

course, simultaneously with others who are also logged

in to the online course site. Our platform enables

attendees with webcam/microphone access and will

record individuals’ participation/engagement so

completion is documented and credits can be recorded

into TLC transcripts.

TLC offers a variety of online, asynchronous and self-

paced programs that are available 24/7 to help you

fulfill PITEI self-choice requirements.

We recommend you bookmark your favorites among the resources we have included in the Weekly Word

issues (archived on TLC’s home page) These sites are continually updated as new materials are available. For example, the Early Childhood Technical Assistance

Center recently added a new video about tele-intervention home visiting during the pandemic.
