Home and School Association

• To provide volunteer opportunities for parents to support the school programs.

• To promote and facilitate communication among parents and faculty.

• To sponsor school and parish community building events.

Volunteer Opportunities

• All families are required to volunteer their time for two activities a year; one major and one minor

• Volunteer packets were sent to all families at the end of last year for the ’09/’10 school year

• Need 100% participation from all families. Those families that have not returned their packets will be contacted next week to sign up for activities

• Check school web site for activities that still need volunteers

Communication Between Faculty & Parents

• Room Parents – all classrooms have a room parent to help promote communication between the parents and faculty

• Classroom Assignments - each class has a specific assignment for the year

K & 4th – Staff Appreciation Meal 1st – Teacher Conference Spring 2nd – Teacher Conference Fall 3rd – B&N Book Fair 5th – 6th Grade Graduation 6th – Field Day Lunch
