Examples of Fraudulent Activities:

Billing for services not actually provided Upcoding and bill padding Billing for services that were not medically

necessary Kickbacks Billing Medicare/Medicaid for a service that has

already been paid for by another party Drug companies promoting a drug for a use for

which it has not been approved Billing in order to increase revenue instead of

billing to reflect actual work performed
