•The reading can be done alone or together with an adult.

•Several skills increase in difficulty as the year progresses and may show a decrease in performance indicator.

•Transforming grades into report card language:

◦ 85-100% = proficient

◦ 70-84% = developing

◦ 0-69% = area of concern
