Class Expectations
• Respect yourself, your teacher and your classmates.
• Listen when a speaker is talking.• Follow directions the first time they are

Required Science Supplies
One composition notebook, and 1 pocket folder.Other supplies that are required• Sharp pencils, erasers, ruler, colored
pencils, scissors, glue sticks, red pens, loose notebook paper
• Donations are always welcome!
Absence Policy
• Students have the number of days absent to make up the work that was missed.
• Students take responsibility to pick up handouts and discuss with teacher what they need to complete and turn in.
• Please avoid non-illness absences whenever possible.
Grading Policy
• 30 % Classwork – activities, walk-in work, participation, notebook.
• 70% Assessments - Tests, quizzes, projects, daily check-ins, assignments.
Homework
• Study notes• Prepare for tests• One home project per quarter• Projects are extensions of topics
in class, designed to be hands-on or reflective

My hopes for this year…• Inspire in all students a love of science and
technology!• Foster a cooperative learning environment in which
every student can perform at their personal best!• Challenge students to ask questions and to seek
answers and think for themselves.• Get to know each student and celebrate their
unique interests, talents, abilities and aspirations!
