SCHOOL PROJECT OF SOLIDARITY AND INCLUSIVENESS

• Topic: Together for Inclusive Society

• Objective: Reducing the problem of social inequality and exclusion of individuals or groups in school or local community

• Target group: all second grade students of our school - 117 students of vocational orientation: economist, hotel and tourist technician, agrotourist technician, salesman, saleswoman, chef and waiter

• Project team - six teachers: Radmila Frantal, Davorka Bahnjik, Mihaela Moker, Sonja Brletid, Svjetlana Brkid Milivojevid and Tanja Čarapovid

• Partners: teachers, the principal, parents, associations GONG and Forum za slobodu odgoja, Zagreb, local government - GRAD Daruvar

• School project implementation period: September 2017 - December 2018

ACTIVITIES IN THE PERIOD: FEBRUARY - MAY 2018.

1. Research of attitudes and knowledge of second grade students related to social inequality and exclusion of individuals or groups in school and local community on different grounds

2. Research results analysis

3. Defining the problem and introducing all the participants with the issue

4. Conducting workshops with students and providing lectures to teachers on topics: stereotypes and prejudices, appreciation of diversity, media and politics literacy

5. Preparation of students for the independent implementation of workshops in homeroom classes of second grades
