• Fish monitoring

Fish monitoring from January 8, 2010 to November 8, 2010 is poor due to the too many trawlers fishing in the Economic Exclusive Zone (EEZ).

• Air TemperatureFrom January to November, the temperature has been stable allowing fishers to go out to fish. The highest temperature was recorded in September.

• Wind and Rain

Over the period of January to November, there has been light rain and medium wind condition

• Water SurfaceOver the period from January to November the water surface has been flat ;again giving fishers the time to fish but production always low.

• TrawlingThere have been too many trawlers fishing very close to shore causing lots of damages in fishing equipments.

• Shoreline SurveyThe over population of West POINT IS A PROBLEM. The shoreline of this community continues to be the dump site of community dwellers.

• Tide levelThe tide level has been on and off; that is as the sea tide rises, there is always threat and even destroying houses.

2. Shoreline Survey It gives us information on pollution and improper disposal of garbage/ waste.
