By definition, a learning style is the unique collection of
individual skills and preferences that affect how a
person perceives,
gathers, and processes
information.

ARE YOU AN AUDITORY LEARNER??? Auditory learners
generally learn better by listening
Lectures, discussions, reading aloud, etc…
Remember best by hearing something and saying it aloud
• Generally think in terms of pictures
• Prefer to see things written down• Handout, text, overhead,
PowerPoint, maps, graphs, charts
Perhaps You are a Visual Learner?
OR ARE YOU KINESTHETIC??
Touching, feeling, and experiencing what they are trying to learn
Remember best by physically manipulating the information they are given
Very hands onand active learners
