What is Good Clinical Practice (GCP) ?

Good Clinical Practice is:

• A set of International Standards for the conduct of

Research

• Compliance with the standards provides public

assurance that the rights, safety and wellbeing of the

trial subjects are protected and that the research data

are credible

Introduction to Good Clinical

Practice

• GCP recommended to be completed every 2 years

• Can be completed as a one day face to face course or as

e-learning option (4hours to complete)

• GCP = 4 Continuing Professional Development (CPD

credits

How to Access Introduction to Good

Clinical Practice

• Google CRN Learn

• To create an account you will require an e-mail

address

• You will then be prompted to input a password of

your choice

• You will receive an email confirming that you have

created an account

• Ready to log in to your account

Booking a Face to Face course

Choose CRN North West Coast

Scroll to bottom of page and select

Good Clinical Practice (GCP)

Click link to Introduction to Good Clinical Practice

Select the course that you want to attend by clicking sign up on the right hand side

Click Sign up

You will then receive an email to confirm enrolment

Select Introduction to Good Clinical Practice ( Secondary Care)

Click on link to receive an enrolment key by e-mail

Upon receipt of e-mail – Type enrolment key in the box ( do not copy and paste)

E- Learning

• You now have access to the e-learning course

• All progress will be saved and you can return to the course

as many times as you like until its completed

• Upon completion of either the face to face or the e-

learning course a certificate will be issued and is available

on this site

• Send a copy of GCP certificate to the RDI Office for their

records
