KULNURA (From Our Correspondent) On Sunday afternoon last a Memorial Service was held at Kulnura for the soldiers of the district who had lately fallen at the war, viz., Wm L. C. Harris, Bert Grey, Norman John Gibson, Mayson Penn, and M. Whitehead. The service was conducted by Rev. S. Wedge, of Gosford. It was largely at-tended, and impressive in character. Mr W.H. Ke-lyuack ably presided at the organ. A short resume of the life of each departed soldier was read, and reference made to the sterling worth of one’s char-acter, and at the conclusion of the service the “Dead March” in Saul was played whilst all re-mained silently standing, after which the national Anthem was sung. The service and its solemnity will long be remembered by those who attended.
