A group of young Americans are bicycling across Europe, and they stop for the night in an old castle that has been turned into a hostel for travelers. Once inside they meet a very strange group of owners. There is Letha with her limp black hair and dead white face; ModelS, a man-made "man"; Dracula, the last descendant of the great Dracula family; Dirga, a young girl who is waiting to meet her "perfect mate"; and Granny, who specializes in "eye of newt soup." The hostelers also meet the family pets: Queenie, an alligator, and a raven in a bird cage in the upstairs hall. Led by Fritzi Washburn, the group leader, the hostelers find themselves in and out of a series of madcap adventures, not the least of which is spending the night in a dark, damp cave. Even so, this adventure turns out to be one of the highlights of their trip. If you're ever bicycling around Europe, be sure to stop in and visit the Dracula
family!

00\.,n to Earth opens w1th two angels, \ inifred and Agn , de cending to earth to collect two elderly oul , Augusta Applegate, a w althy pinster who has no mtention of going, and Herman Howell , a retired sailor who has only his cat, , lanuel, to hve for . As Winifred and Agne descend, they acquire an ther hitchhiking an el, the mi chievous Pilone.
Upon arriving at the1r destination, A nes and Winifred realiz that Pilone is just half an angel and i ble <ed (?) With power unusual to mo t an els. In fact, P1lone can and d s make people fall in 1 ve by ki sing them. Pilone th rou hly me e up plans m a eries of unt that absolutely baffle the humans mvolved.
The angels' chore is complicated by ugusta' money- hun ry relatives: Orpha Teel and her daughter, Rut hie, who move in with unt Gus in order to en narc a nch hypochondriac, Robert Hanley, f r Ruthie; Millie and Baxter Bromsley, who hope to obtain money from their wealthy aunt for u e in manufacturmg Baxter' wacky inven-tion ; th ir daughter, June, and h r fiance Richard Whit , ,,·ho wi h to borr ,., on thousand dollars from Aunt Gus to finance a photography 「オセゥョ@ s . Further complica-tions arise when Pilone falls m love with 1is pplegat ' maid, Diana Clump, who ha en jilted eleven time .
All this adds up to dtsaster for the angel ; they ar tranded on earth, th -..;o pos ible fate to befall an angel. The situation is fmally re olved \\'hen P1lone and Diana ar turned into full - fledg d angel . The curtain falls on th • inning of a truly "heavenly" experience.
