Winged Lightning
Use colored pencils and/or computer software to draw a symmetrical design that can be used for many applications, including tattoos
As an Aside
Only one wing and the lightning bolt were rendered with colored pencils in the original design – the rest was completed in Photoshop. If you decide to complete your final drawing in Photoshop:1. Flip the design horizontally.2. Select the wing.3. Copy it.4. Flip the design back.5. Paste it. 6. Move it into place.7. Trim the edges with the
lasso and eraser tools.8. Flatten the layers. You also have the option of simply drawing both wings and then outlining the whole design with a sharp, black colored pencil (Figure 1).

in sadness, in joy, in kindness, in
unkindness, retain grace with you! ~C.JoyBell C.~

on flying anyway. ~Mary Kay Ash~

If we listened to our intellect, we’d never have a love affair. We’d never have a
friendship. We’d never go into business, because
we’d be cynical. Well, that’s nonsense.
You’ve got to jump off cliffs all the
time and build your wings on the way
down. ~Ray Bradbury~

you will forever walk the earth with your eyes
turned skyward, for there you have been, and there you will always long to return. ~Leonardo da
