St. Theresa's college has its unique and excellent program called SAMAHAN. Once a month, we integrate the theme in our respective subjects. As for me, I teach Christian Living that is why i used women in the Bible. Same goes to the other disciplines. This presentation aims to integrate the important role of women in history, society and contemporary time. The students had their chance to interact with women Police Security Group.of the Phils.

Ruth is a short version of 'retut', ‘lovely friend’.

Miriam means 'prophetess' or 'lady'; the name points to

Miriam as the sister of the tribal leader.

Esther' means 'hidden': Esther's real identity as a

Jewess was hidden for many years.

All of these women of the Bible showed extraordinary bravery during a time when women were regarded as mere chattel with no rights and little respect. It is fitting that they should be recognized for their character and accomplishments in the book that is the Word of God.
