MCLA, Southern Vermont College, RPI, and the College of St. Joseph's (VT) competed in the Shootout

MASCAC Player of the Year

Junior center, Jen Wehner led the league in both scoring and rebounding at 17.6 points per game and 14.3 rebounds per game during the regular season, as she also paced the conference with a .557 field goal percentage. She set a program record by collecting 28 rebounds in a game this season. She is the first women’s player to receive the Player of the Year award.

Men’s Basketball 2010-2011 • MCLA had their best season since 1999

• Earned a two seed in MASCAC tournament

• Earned first ever ECAC Championship Bid

National Girls and Women in Sports Day

On January 29th, the MCLA athletics department

hosted over 50 girls and 22 women at their annual

National Girls and Women in Sports Day celebration.

The event has been celebrated at the MCLA campus for the last 22

years.

MCLA raises Championship Banners

Women’s Basketball earns their first everMASCAC tournament champions title

raising their banner on opening game night of their 2010-2011 season

on November 16th

Women’s Soccer adds the year 2010 to their banner on December 9th after

earning regular season MASCAC champions this past fall

Think Pink NightOn February 8th, MCLA hosted Think

Pink Night. Donations and other money earned on the evening of think pink game was sent into the Kay Yow

foundation in accordance with the WBCA.

Looking ahead to Spring

The MCLA Softball team will open their season on March 12th against Ohio

Wesleyan in Fort Myers, FL

The MCLA Baseball season will open their season on March 11th with a doubleheader

against SUNY-IT in Winter Haven, FL
