Research and professional consultancy projects are a core activity of WMU faculty, who are expected
to attract external funding for research and project activities. Currently, there are 18 active projects at
WMU with a length 2-5 years. In 2013, the total research expenditures were $ 1.23 million (32% in
general fund, and 68% in special research trust funds).
