•  Your background image may be a photograph or drawing of a person who is iconic or influential to you

•  This person may be an artist, celebrity, historical figure, or someone you personally know

CREATING YOUR PIECE

1.  Choose a photograph, print an image, or create a drawing of your chosen icon/figure

2.  Select yarn to use on your piece. Choose either a complementary, monochromatic, triadic, or analogous color palette

3.  Carefully glue the yarn onto the image in a pattern or direction

4.  You may focus on a particular area, such as the hair, clothing, or background for your yarn

5.  You must use at least one pattern
