Year 9French Trip

The coach to Dover is scheduled to arrive at 6:50 and we’ll register all students and six-form and fill the coach. Squashy bags are a preference to hard cases. Squashy bags are easier to fit into the coach. They will not be accessible during our journey to Dover.

Brief Introduction

We will be departing school at 7:00 with all students registered all luggage on the coach the latest we will leave is 7:10. Arriving at Dover at 8:30 the ferry leaves at 9:00.

Monday

On Tuesday morning we will go to Notre Dame.

Tuesday

We will have a short break, for lunch. Then we will continue to travel.

In the afternoon we will be at the Arc de Triomphe and the surronding shops. We will be returning at 6 o’clock.

On Wednesday we will be going to the Versailles Palace. We will be staying there to have a tour for the entire day. Also students will be getting a packed lunch from the hotel.

Wednesday

On Thursday morning we will be going to Monte-San Michelle, until lunch time.

Thursday

We will have lunch at Monte-San Michelle and then move on.

We will then travel to the Eiffel Tower for the afternoon & have a meal in town, before returning.

We will be having a short trip around town, before we get back on the coach back to Calais. We will be on the coach for two hours with one stop half way. Our ferry home leaves Calais at 12:00 and there are food arrangements on the ferry.

FridayComing home

We will be staying in a rather small hotel, in a town just off the side of Paris. It’s a quiet little town with a church and a strong sense of the French community. Sometimes of an evening the students will be allowed out into the town.

When you apply for the trip you must include a shirt size, as we are supplying designed t-Shirts for the students on the trip only. There will not be another form coming out for the t-Shirts, it is attached to the slip for the first deposit.
