Who we are?
• Yogindra Energy Limited is in the process of setting up manufacturing unit of solar modules in India.
• Company foresighted the emergence of booming Solar Photovoltaic Industry in the World. As of its future expansion plans, Company is initially setting up 20 MW Solar Module Line Project in Ludhiana, India. Company will expand its capacity up to 200 MW in near future.
• Company to start its operations in April, 2008.
• Company will be 100% Export Oriented Unit with more than 90% sales in European Countries initially.
• YEL will also provide solar power consultancy in India.
Why Now?
Unexplored market: Out of total 1700 MW of Solar Installations worldwide, India’s Share is only 150 MW, which is about 9% of total world’s supply.
The total power generating capacity in the country as of March 2007 was about 1,33,000 MW. Renewable power generating capacity is about 10,252 MW, which contributes 7.75 per cent of the installed power generating capacity. Among renewable power technologies the major contributions are from Wind Power (7092 MW) Small Hydro Power (1976 MW), Bio Energy (1187 MW) and 155 MW of grid distributed solar power. Renewable Energy will contribute 10% of total power requirement in 2010 & 25% in 2025.
Global WarmingClimate change worries, high oil prices and increasing government support top a set of drivers spurring soaring investments in the renewable energy and energy efficiency industries, which reached USD 100 billion last year.
Opportunity: Exponentially growing energy demand worldwide and shortage of crude.

• In 2006, the photovoltaic industry continued its impressive growth and delivered worldwide some 1,744 MWp of photovoltaic generators.

• Initially YEL will sell 100% modules to European Market, We have order book completed for another 5 years.
• We are currently waiting for more Government support in Solar Power in India. Once more fiscal benefits are approved, we will focus on domestic market.
