• Having a base lets you keep things afloat
• Let’s you link to content again, if it becomes relevant - push content

What content should you produce?• Relevant: Must be of use to the target audience
• Engaging: Your personal enthusiasm is contagious and your content should elicit a reaction from your readers / viewers
• Visual: Pictures and videos are powerful tools that can communicate complex ideas quickly - use them well
• Nerdy: If you work within a specific niche, make sure to use that to create very relevant content for a very engaged audience

• Knowledge sharing: Slides, articles or blogs
• News from your business
• Content relevant to you niche or market segment (commenting on what’s “in the news”)
