In the cycle „prof. Dudek asks” so far we emmited 5 questions.

First question -”What is behind the name (in Polish): TOPOROWA CYRHLA?” (impossible to translate), we appeal to well known fact, that behind the geographicalnames, quite often their history is hidden.

We obtained significant number of good answers.

Generally we have got, more or less, good answers for our questions. Except question # 4.

All our young friends have been informedabout „the only good” answer, some of themwere rewarded with small gifts.

It is quite often, that we are asked for writtentestimony of their success or just paricipation

As kind of „ad hoc” experiment, we have elaborated and published (using Polish part of YPEF page) en example of question within FOREST QUIZ

It is in form of short video, so you can look at it, but written question is like this:

In XIX century in many European countries was executed theory of one-species, evenaged, artificially originated stands/platations. This theory was based strongly in economy.

Question:What kind of species have been used so broadly in European countries and what kind of problem is now in forest management in this countries?
