My reasons of my exploration0 I wanted to orbit the Earth and explore outer space because :

I wanted to discover the Earth from Outer space (How does it look like the continents ,the mountains ,the sea ,etc)

: I wanted to make a record, to do something no one had ever done before. I did this by becoming the first human ever to go into space. : I participated to be a cosmonaut because during my era, Russia and the U.S created a race called “The Space Race”.

My Journey to Orbit Earth0 On April 12 1961, my journey began by a rocket called

Soyuz 1 and a space capsule Vostok 1. I orbited Earth for 1 hour and 48 minutes, including the trip to outer space and the descending process back to Earth. When I was inside Vostok 1, I observed the Earth from outer space. Through my small space ship window’s view, I saw mountains, oceans, the various continental positions ,etc.
