Bob Bahr’s story on Yuka Imata will appear in the December 2012/January 2013 issue ofPleinAir magazine, as he reports on the challenges she faced when painting on location inManhattan. Imata was an Artist in Residence in Bryant Park, behind the New York Public Library,from August 13-17 and August 20-24, 2012 and then participated in the Governors Island ArtFair from September 6-27. Bahr met up with her on the island off the tip of Lower Manhattanand did some paintings in a new 5” x 7” Guerilla paint box. For more information, visitwww.yukaimata.com.
