The Challenge of Keeping End-Users Happy The Software Defined Data Center (SDDC) is defined by three pillars – compute virtualization, storage virtualization and network virtualization. VMware ® , the market leader and technology innovator, deploys NSX for network virtualization, the third critical pillar, and delivers key benefits to the network including simplified management, provisioning agility and enhanced data center economics. With NSX, networks can be programmatically managed and provisioned on demand, resulting in improved service velocity. If services leveraging NSX are disrupted or delayed, the data center team must resolve the issue quickly (Mean-Time-to-Repair/Resolution – MTTR) and in most cases, also prove it is NOT an NSX issue at all (Mean-Time-to-Innocence – MTTI).
