to twelve months before the wedding. A member of the pastoral team
will work with the couple to complete the pre�marriage program.�

The Chapel of the Eucharist�
The Chapel (located behind the main altar area of the church) is

Lifetouch NEW PARISH DIRECTORY
Lifetouch Church Directories will be at the Parish of
the Resurrection on Wednesday, October 16,
Thursday, October 17 and Friday, October 18
from 2:00 – 9:00 p.m. and Saturday, October 19
from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Friday,
November 1 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. to take
family photos for the new Parish of the Resurrection
Directory. There are no session fees, select your
image for the directory and receive a free 8x10
standard print and a Church Directory. Signs ups
will take place in the gathering space this
weekend. You can also sign-up on the parish

questions.
This week we join our prayers with the Sunday
Evening Rosary group as we pray for Vocations
and our Parish Mission Projects.
KC BLOOD DRIVE Set for October 1
Join us in answering the call to help others...
Plan to donate blood this Tuesday, October 1
between 1:30 and 6:30 p.m. in the Resurrection
parish hall. Appointments are recommended:

of Columbus meeting will take place in the gym

SWEATER WEATHER: Sweater Recycling
Each year the Davis Funeral Home (1 Lock Street,
Nashua) collects sweaters to “recycle” them to
those in need in the Nashua area. All sweaters
collected are delivered to area agencies to help those
who might not have enough warm clothing for the
winter. The “Sweater Weather” drive takes place
each year during the months of September and
October. Collection boxes are placed in the foyer
of the funeral home and sweaters may be
dropped off Monday through Friday from 8:30
a.m. to 4:00 p.m. CLEAN, used sweaters in good
condition or new sweaters, for men, women and
children are needed. Sweatshirts are also
accepted. We are NOT collecting coats or other
clothing at this time.

FAITH into ACTION: Parish Mission Projects
August donations totaled $3278.50
This weekend we have our monthly Parish Mission
Projects Collection. The funds are equally divided
among our Sister Parish in Haiti, Corpus Christi Food
Pantry and Assistance and Marguerite’s Place. If you
do not receive envelopes and would like to support
this effort, simply use a check (with Parish Mission
Projects notation) or a plain envelope labeled Parish
Mission Projects. Parishioners who give online
should use the SPECIAL COLLECTIONS category.
CORPUS CHRISTI FOOD PANTRY
Fall Needs at the Pantry
This weekend is our monthly collection of food for
the Corpus Christi Food Pantry and Assistance.
Please help the Pantry by bringing these items:
pancake mix, syrup, chicken noodle, minestrone and
cream of mushroom soup, chowders, canned carrots
and corn, canned spam, stew, chili, tuna, manwhich
sauce, Ramen noodles, canned pasta, Hamburger
Helper, turkey stuffing, turkey gravy, flour, sugar,
hot chocolate mix, shampoo, toothpaste and razors.
Away for the weekend? Donations may be left in the
gathering space any time during the week. Thank
you for your ongoing generosity!
OUR PARISH CHURCH: Debt Collection
September donations totaled $5459
September payment is $7867
Next weekend (October 5-6) we have the Debt
Collection for September Approximately $541,158
remains on the debt for our church building. We are
most grateful to all who are faithful to this area of
parish life. If you do not receive envelopes and would

PRIESTHOOD SUNDAY: With Gratitude
This Sunday is designated by the Catholic Church
in the United States as Priesthood Sunday. We thank
Father John for his prayerful leadership of our
parish community, and we pray for all our priests.
O God, who made your Only Begotten Son
eternal High Priest,
grant that those he has chosen
as ministers and stewards of your mysteries
may be found faithful and carry out
the ministry they have received.
Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,
who lives and reigns with you
in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God, for ever and ever (Collect, Mass for Priests\
ROMAN MISSAL).
Parishioners who are going to have surgery or
who are dealing with a serious illness are
encouraged to receive the SACRAMENT of the
SICK. Please see Father John. The anointing can
take place after a weekday or weekend Mass.
For the WOMEN: Little Daughters
The women of the parish are invited to gather for a
morning of prayer and reflection next Saturday,
October 5 in the office hall following the 8 a.m.
Mass. Sponsored by the Little Daughters of the
Sacred Heart. Father John will present Pray and
Don’t Worry: Lessons from the Saints. Questions or to

SMALL GROUP DISCUSSION: October 23
On Wednesday, October 23 from 6:30 –8:00 p.m. in
the lower office hall, Mark Boegel will lead a
discussion on the book Letter to a Suffering Church: A
Bishop Speaks on the Sexual Abuse Crisis by Bishop
Robert Barron. You are invited to pick up a free

40 DAYS FOR LIFE
From September 25 through November 3, you’re
invited to join other Christians for 40 Days for Life –
