Mr. Boyson holds the rare distinction of having practiced embedded HR on every inhabited continent including experience in almost every major industrial sector. Currently the HR Director at Touch, with around 21 years of professional experience; Nour started her career in 1991 as an accountant. Two years later, she completed a six months training program in the banking sector after which she moved to Kuwait to excel in preparing statistical reports and miscellaneous researches for a governmental institution. Upon returning to Lebanon in 1998, Nour followed her passion by starting her stint in the HR field in May 1998 when she worked as HR and training manager for a reputable Regional System Integrator and Professional Services Company, where she was responsible for all Human Resources’ issues.Her position also entitled her to handle training, while being a member of a regional learning and development committee, responsible for all soft-skills trainings and setting the training track for the career development of the employees.It was in June 2004 that Nour became a member of the MTC family (currently Zain), when she was assigned as the Training Manager for MTC Touch in Lebanon, heading the Learning and Development for two years. Fida Afiouni is an Assistant Professor of Human Resource Management (HRM) at the American university of Beirut. She is an engaged scholar with a research agenda revolving around HRM and gender issues in the Middle East with a focus on work-life balance, talent management and atypical career patterns.
