Trekking to Mantra Devi Temple:

Geographical InformationThe Mata Mantra Devi Temple is located on the top most mountain range

of Shivalik's. To reach there you have to go from Jagadhri to Bilaspur and then by passing through Ranjeetpur and Kathgarh Village (about 35 Km) and after walking of

about 4 km after crossing the road where it is situated between the mountain ranges.

Nar Narayan sculpture (which is on a single red stone) is seated here in the shape of PINDI's in a beautiful cave. Outside of this cave there are two sculptures of Lord Hanuman and Bharawas are situated as they are preventing others to go inside the Baikunth.

On the east side of Maa Mantra Devi Temple, there is a huge mountain which is called GURUSHIKHAR. And about 400 meter downwards there are three sculpture of Lord Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva

How to Reach:

1. Small Way: It consists of 4 km of walking and in about 30 mins, a person can reach at Shri Mantra Devi's Temple.

2. Comfortable way: It is along with the river which is around 5 Km in which a person can easily reach to Shri Mata Mantra Devi's Temple.

Maa Mantra Devi's Temple is at the edge of a mountain and there is an arrangement to move around this mountain. You have to go from small route and came back via long route.

LocationIt can be reached from Jagadhri by a 40 km long all-weather road via Bilaspur, Haryana. The nearest village is Kathgarh, which is situated 2 km southwest from AdiBadri. Adi Badri has a Sarasvati kund (pond) for the worship of Sarasvati river where evening aarti is held every day.

Channeti Stupa Circa 3rd Century BC History and description -: During the reign of the Mauryan King Ashoka, the ancient city of Shrughna (modern Sugh) became an important center of Buddhism. As mentioned in the travel account of the Chinese pilgrim Yuan Chwang, this place was adorned by many stupas and a monastery. It is a small village situated 3 kms east of Jagadhri is about 3 kms. north-west of Sugh. This stupa at Chaneti must have been one of those referred by Yuan Chwang. To construct this baked brick stupa, concentric layers were put one over the other, each time leaving some space on the underlying layer, so that the whole structure should give a hemispherical look. Thus, this stupa corresponds to the Shahpur and Dharmarajika stupas at Taxila.

Prithudak Tirath Pehowa

The Tirath is located 28 kilometre away from Kurukshetra in Pehowa town. Amongst the Tirthas in Kurukshetra on the bank of Sarasvati, Prithudak is considered to be the most important one. According to Mahabharata the Tirath gives all the merits that one can attain from a Tirtha. It is also mentioned in the Puranas that there was King named Prithudafter whom this tirath was named. The king was known for his sacrifice and devotion to his father. Archaeologically speaking , the existing temple brick structures, paintings (Murals) and inscription dated back the time of Pratihar Mahendra Pal, ruler of the Gurjara-Pratihara dynasty.

Kapil Muni Sarasvati Tirath Kalayat

The Kalayat Ancient Brick Temple Complex, also called Kapil Muni Tirth, the oldestsurviving brick temple north of Delhi, is located in Kalayat town in Kaithal district of thestate of Haryana, India.
