bawling green was the soene of a vary spirited contest between two rinks of the Waterloo club and sev­eral combinations of locals. The genial visitors made themselves very popular hero by their gentle­manly, jovial conduct, and th y canto in for the lion’s sbajo of ap­plause from the large gathering of lady and gentleman spectators. In the six contests Wellesley placed as many new p'ttyers in tho rinks as could be gathered, and the “ colts” gave a very creditable account of themsol res.
