Connect the AC adapter to the CloudStation, plugthe adapter into a power outlet, then turn theCloudStation's ON switch to switch on the power.Once blue POWER LED on front of the CloudStationstops flashing and remains lit, tap (or click) "Next."
The CloudStation automatically confirms theconnection to the Internet. If the INFO/ERROR LEDis off, tap (or click) "Next."
The CloudStation automatically searches fordevices on the network.
Using 3G network or CloudStation wasnot found…
If you are using your smartphone's 3Gnetwork to set up, or if the CloudStationcannot perform the search automatically, ascreen will appear as indicates. Then enteryour CloudStation's ID number (found on thebottom of the CloudStation), then tap (orclick) "Next."
Enter your email address and the password youintend to use to login. Then place check mark toindicate you agree with the terms and conditions,then tap (or click) "Finish."* Your password is required each time you log in with a
device. Be sure to write it down on a piece of paper orotherwise record it separately for safekeeping.
A verification email will be sent to theaddress you entered. Tap (or click) the linkshown in the email. Now your CloudStationsetup is done!* If your email client is set not to display HTML
email, the email sent will have the samecontent, but in plain text format.
The web browser will launch and display theCloudStation web page. If you are using a
computer, you can upload files from thispoint. Store your exclusive library to theCloudStation and enjoy access to it from thedevice of your choice.* If using a smartphone or tablet, please continue

Confirm the folder in which the Pogoplug software is to be installed,then click "Next."
If the "User Account Control" screen appears, click "Yes."
This completes preparations for installation. Click "Install."
Installation complete. Click "Finish."
The software will launch. Enter the email address and password youregistered in setting up the CloudStation, then click the "Sign in."
The software allows you to set automatically copy (Active Copy) thephotos and music in your "My Pictures" and other folders on yourcomputer to the CloudStation. If this is what you wish, place a checkmark by the folders you want to copy, then click "OK." If you do notwant to use Active Copy, click "Skip this step."* You can set this after the initial setup as well.
When the setup is done, you can see the list of folders that wereselected to be copied automatically. This completes installation ofthe software. Click the ""x" button to close the window.
You can check to confirm the addition of the new drive by clicking"Computer (My Computer)" from the Windows Start menu. You canaccess files and drag-and-drop to save content, just as you would dowith a regular external HDD or USB memory.
