During the previous school year we attended the ‘’Project’’. We explored the topic of adolescence and the ways that it is expressed through the arts. At first we all thought of the “Project” as one of the many conventional and inactive subjects that just add up to the pile. Yet, as time went on, we understood that this won’t be the case as we felt something changing. At this time, after a whole year of our “Project” experience, we can justifiably say that we learned first hand what interactive learning is all about. During this past year we got to know each other, we talked, we touched, we cried ,we laughed we felt, we created…

We came really close to each other, we painted, we

danced, we discussed, we argued, we got motivated, we

worked a lot, we got disappointed and stressed, we felt

happy but, most importantly, we learned how to love

ourselves and the person next to us. It surely was a

different and beautiful experience!

Searching our identity

Methods and tools : Internet research , poetry reading ,

romantic poems. We studied the ancient tragedy

‘’Antigone’’ of Sophocles in which the main pattern is love.

In collaboration with the school of children with special

qualifications, we drew paintings about love.

Methods and tools : Questionnaire about addictions that

was given out to students in our school. The questions

were about smoking and consuming alcohol and about the

amount of time they spend in front of their PC screen per

day. Furthermore, we met a renowned psychologist in our

area in order to talk about the results of addictions in our

lives and how the addictions are closer to us than we

think.

The highlight moment of this team was the experience of

an interview with a female football player from which we

drew an unexpected influence.

We were troubled about financial

recession and our future. We interviewed our

parents and grandparents about their youth

and compared the past with the present. We

discussed about our professional options with

perspective in times of crisis. Finally, we wrote

a story ‘’Knitting our future’’.
