Day 1 - Tuesday, May 23: Depart USA

Depart USA on overnight flights.Day 2 - Wednesday, May 24: Santiago de Compostela

Arrive at the airport in PortugaI and meet your professional tour escort. Transfer by private motorcoach to Santiago de Compostela, Spain. Check in to your hotel before celebrating Mass at the Cathedral of Santiago at the Our Lady of Pilar Chapel (pending final confirmation). Afterwards, enjoy a festive welcome dinner at a local restaurant featuring the local drink, Queimada. Overnight in Santiago de Compostela. (D)Day 3 - Thursday, May 25: Santiago de Compostela

This morning, visit the beautiful cathedral in Santiago de Compostela, the town of St. James. Tour the Praza do Obradoiro, taking in the fantastic facades of the University, the Cathedral and the City Hall, surrounding the square. Celebrate the Pilgrim Mass at the Cathedral and see the magnificent “botafumeiro”, a three-foot high iron incenser that is suspended by a two hundred-foot rope and swung over the heads of the congregation. Pilgrims can follow the centuries-old tradition of climbing the stairs behind the altar to kiss the shells that rest on the silver statue of the saint, and embrace “El Señor Santiago”, thanking the Saint that they have accomplished the pilgrimage! Below the statue is the crypt that contains the bones of St. James in a silver reliquary. Free time this afternoon for personal devotion, or to walk a portion of the Camino de Santiago pilgrim route. Dinner on your own and overnight in Santiago de Compostela. (CB)Day 4 - Friday, May 26: Pontevedra | Braga | Oporto

Depart for Pontevedra. In this city, Sister Lucia, one of the visionaries of Fatima, lived in a modest convent as a novice and postulant. Continue on to the town of Braga and celebrate Mass at the pilgrim church of Bom Jesus do Monte. Check into your hotel in the seaside town of Oporto for dinner and overnight. (CB|D)Day 5 - Saturday, May 27: Oporto

Today tour and then celebrate Mass at the remarkable Cathedral of Oporto. Afterwards, enjoy a boatride and lunch along the Douro river to take in the sites of this seaside town. Then depart for an enchanting wine-tasting at a local winery to sample the finest varietals of the region. This afternoon free to explore Oporto. Dinner on your own and overnight in Oporto. (CB|L)

Day 6 - Sunday, May 28: Fatima | Coimbra

After breakfast, depart for Fatima with a brief stop in the city of Coimbra. Here we will celebrate Mass in the Carmelite cloister where Sister Lucia, one the three visionaries of Fatima spent her last days. This afternoon check into the hotel in Fatima and have a guided tour of the basilica with the tombs of Jacinta and Francesco and the Chapel of Apparitions where Our Lady appeared. Enjoy dinner at the hotel followed by the beautiful evening Candlelight Procession. Overnight in Fatima. (CB|D) Day 7 - Monday, May 29: Fatima

Today, visit the charming hamlet town of Aljustrel, where the young visionary children lived. Also, visit Valinhos, where Our Lady appeared after the children’s return from their imprisonment. Celebrate Mass. Options of praying the Stations of the Cross, with time for personal devotions. Join in the beautiful evening Candlelight Procession this evening. Dinner on your own and overnight in Fatima. (CB)Day 8 - Tuesday, May 30: Batalha | Nazare | Alcobaca

Today enjoy a visit to the historical town of Batalha. Celebrate Mass at the UNESCO world heritage site Batalha Monestary, a Dominican monastery built to honor the Virgin Mary after a major military victory in Portugal. Continue on to the fishing village of Nazare for lunch, followed by a visit to the charming town of Alcobaca where one of the most important medieval Cistercian monasteries in Portugal was founded. Return to Fatima for dinner on your own and overnight. (CB)Day 9 - Wednesday, May 31: Lisbon

This morning depart for the capital city of Lisbon enroute visit the eucharistic miracle of Santarem. On arival in Lisbon visit the Church of ‘Santo Antonio Da Se’ the site, where in 1195, St. Anthony of Padua, patron saint of Portugal, was born. The group will celebrate Mass here. Continue to the Cathedral, housing the Saint’s baptismal font. After lunch on your own visit the Belem Tower and the Church of St. Jeronimo. Check into your hotel and enjoy a special farewell dinner this evening. Overnight in Lisbon. (CB|D) Day 10 - Thursday, June 1: Return to USA

Depart Lisbon on return flights to the USA.
