First, we checked out non-fiction animal books from the library to read in class. Next, we wrote down the important details we learned from reading the non-fiction book. Then, we came to computer lab to type the notes we made in power point! Enjoy the Show! PANDAS live in China. They can eat 80 pounds of bamboo every day. Tigers live alone in the wild. Baby tigers are called cubs and leave their moms in 3 years. Killer whales have skin that is black and white. They stay in the water and breathe through a blowhole. Dolphin live in salty water but pink river dolphins do not. Pink river dolphins are playful and like to play with fruit that falls in the water. SNAKES Snakes live all around the world. They can live in the dessert, grass, trees and water. They like to eat small animal like mice and birds. BY CAMERON Bats are mammaIs that fly. They have two wings and tiny feet. Bats by DJuan Alligators Alligators spend a lot of time floating in the water. They even sleep while they float. Some people go to Florida to see alligators. By Halley OSTRICH An ostrich are the tallest bird in the world. They use their beaks to clean their feathers. BY JAYDEN Owls OWLS eat small things like mice. Some owls can be as small as 5 inches. BY Jodey Jaguars Jaguars can weigh 220 pounds and jump 20 feet in one leap. Most jaguars have orange yellow and tan fur. BY JOHN Monkeys live in the rainforest. They eat fruit and leaves. LEOPARDS Leopards hunt in the morning or at night. They do not like to hunt when its hot. Most of them live in the African grassland. BY JUSTIN DOLPHINS Dolphins live in groups called pods. Big pods can have hundreds of dolphins. They are the smartest animal in the world. BY KAILEY Crabs have a hard shell. They have big and little claw. Crabs By Keelyn Lions rest for 20 hours a day. Lions can live up to 15 years and live in a family called a pride. Swans Swans migrate in the fall and some in artic. Swallows like to eat plants that grow under water. By Lily CHEETAHS Cheetahs are big wild cats. They are the fastest animal in the world. Cheetahs like to hunt in groups. BY SKYLAR Rhinos like to wallow in pools of mud. They commonly feed on plants in the early morning and evening. Owls are birds who hunt other animals for food. Owls stay awake at night. Sharks swim silently. Whale sharks are the largest fish and they eat krill. MOOSE A moose likes to live alone. They live about 20 years and eat wet leaves. BY VICTORIA
