Ar� Week 4 Make me a cupcake! This week is my birthday, and I miss being able to celebrate with all of you! The drawing this week has 4 different cupcakes to draw. You may want to go to https://www.sno-isle.org/ and search the online eBooks. If you have a library card you can start checking them out to read on your device. If you don’t have a library card, ask your parents to help you sign up for one. Amazon Audible has a lot of books that you can listen to at Amazon Audible . Technology: You should be improving your keyboarding if you are practicing at least 10 minutes a day. If you feel that you have mastered your keys from the last two weeks and are typing them at least 25 wpm you are ready to learn new keys. Have someone time you for one minute in a “challenging” box to find out if you should move up or practice more. Continue on in the drills as you are improving. Please ask someone to show you the fingering for the new keys or refer to the chart below. You should be able to type in box 13 if you are up to that drill. Click on the links for more practice. PE Equipment : Soccer ball or any round ball or even a balloon, bundle up some plastic grocery bags - use whatever you can find to replicate a ball. We recommend soccer skills be practiced outdoors whenever possible. Warm-Up Jog in place for 1 minute 10 Jumping jacks 10 Pushups
30 sec. Plank Soccer Skills Dribbling : This week as you dribble around work on changing directions quickly. Also, work on dribbling at different speeds (slow, medium, and fast). Passing: Pass the ball to a target (a partner, tree, wall). Trying using different parts of your foot (inside and outside of the foot). Remember to use your trapping skills when the ball comes back to you. Cool Down: Stretch for an entire song. I noticed all of the dandelions are blooming in my yard, and will soon turn to seeds. Use something circular that is small to trace around (cup, lid, plastic container). Use a pencil to lightly draw your picture. Then use a permanent marker or crayon to trace over your lines. Finally, you can use watercolors, chalk, crayons, or markers to create a background.
