Rajendra College (Auto.), Balangir owe its inception to the magnanimous philanthropy of Late Rajeir ana Shingh Deo, the then Rule of erstwhile Patna state and later Chief Minister of Odisha. The College was founded by him on 3rdJuly, 1944 and was affiliated to Utkal University

-'Tt with intermediate Arts and Commerce. It was upgraded to a Degree College inJuly, 1946 with the institution of the B.A. (Pass) class. The institution ,,I

attained the status of a fully fledged Degree college after the affiliation of the B.Com class in 1964-65 and B.Sc. class in 1965-66. Post Graduate ,' teaching started from the session 1978-79 and for research pursuance M.Phil. courses in various disciplines have been opened up from 20 17- 18. The college has been under the Sambalpur University since l st January, 1967. The college has been granted Autonomy w.e.f. 01.04.2002 and assessed by NAAC B + + . About the Teacher Education Programme:

Rajendra College started the 3 year Integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. Programme since 201 7 after the approval of NCTE and Govt. of Odisha with intake capacity of 50 students. The NCTE also granted recognition of conducting 2 year B.Ed. programme from academic session 2019-20 with intake capacity of 50 students. The department thrusts upon quality training and exposures to the prospective teacher educators at various settings.

Objectives of the Seminar: Teachers' role is very important for providing education to CWSN, girls, socially marginalized children in inclusive setting. Teachers'

knowledge, skills, attitudes and interest are the factors which determine the success or failure of inclusive education to a great extent. There is a need to relook into the teacher education programme from the perspective of equipping teachers to be prepared for an inclusive classroom environment.

The PPCIE, 20 19 aims to share innovative approaches and to learn from experiences for effective practices of inclusive education which will be helpful for starting the process of developing pre-service teacher training with a goal to systematise inclusive education. Hopefully, these efforts will come out with effective ways to build inclusive classroom in which children from various categories can enjoy joyful learning, including their right to quality education, on an equal basis with their peers.

Guidelines for Paper Submission: Interested participants are requested to send an abstract of around 300 words containing objectives, research methodology and major findings of the study. The abstract should include keywords, full address and e-mail ID of the corresponding author. The acceptance of the abstracts will be intimated to the author through e-mail and then authors are required to submit the complete papers by E-mail dtercbgr20 [email protected]. The full papers are ideally required to be within I 0 pages typed in 12-point font (Times New Roman) and 1.5 interline spacing with margin I" on top, bottom, left and right. How to Reach: Nearest Airports: Raipur Airport, CG (20 1 kms) and Bhubaneswar Airport (248 kms). One can easily get regular train and bus services from major cities of the country. The college is well connected to Balangir town. It is situated 4km away from Balangir railway station and 2km from Govt. Bus stand.
