The documentation for the project presentation consists of:

1. The registration form included at the end of the basis and in www.intercidec.es.

2. A copy of the DNI or Passport and CIF in the case of a company participating.

3. Professional or student accreditation (depending on the category in which you participate).

3.1. Architect / Interior Designer / Designer: career professional or graduate. 3.2. Student accreditation in interior design: currently enrolled in studies related to architecture, interior design, and design or similar.

4. Sworn statement by the participant: The participants will sign the statement available at www.intercidec.es.

5. PROJECT STATEMENT: With a maximum length of 20 bound pages. The minimum contents of the statement will be the following: 5.1 Conceptual and explanatory resume: It must contain a description of the project idea, the aspects that give it originality, its differentiated value, the type of environment, target audience... It is important to highlight the innovative components, either at a conceptual, formal, functional, material and/or emotional level.

5.2 Graphical representation: Sketches and dimensioned plans of the project (individual parts and ensemble), indicating the technical details of the project. 3D rendering. 5.3 Other noteworthy aspects: Materials, production processes, integrated technologies, installation, environmental values or other constraints such as transport or assembly must be specified, if these are an important variable in the project. That is to say, they can increase the value of the proposal or carry data that could help improve its evaluation.* Remember that the elements that make up the presentation of the project must be anonymous, only the NAME OF THE PROJECT must appear.

6. DISPLAY PANEL: A2 size (420 x 594 mm.) rigid stand In which is indicated:

- Title of the project

- Summary of the conceptual / explanatory aspects. The idea behind and value of the proposal.

- Images or 3D representations of the setting (3D Rendering).

* Remember that these elements of the project must be anonymous, only the NAME OF THE PROJECT must appear.

7. Alongside the physical presentation, a USB memory stick, CD or DVD should be attached with the digital contents of the project’s statement and the display panel (formats, texts and images).

The projects must be presented in both physical format and digital format, indicating:

PROFESSIONAL CATEGORY1. In the Professional Category, a single prize of € 5,000 will be awarded.

STUDENT CATEGORY2. In the Student Category, a single prize of € 2,000 will be awarded.

IN BOTH CATEGORIES3. If any of the winning projects finally results in a contract/sale of the project for installation in a hotel, the creator/winner will be entitled to the relevant economic benefits.

4. The judging panel reserves the right to grant any runner-up prize it deems appropriate. These prizes, without economic content, consist of a gift and the

possibility of opting for the corresponding royalties, in case that the project is sold to a hotel client among other collaborations.

5. In addition, press releases will be issued on the results of the Contest, which will be distributed throughout the principal media specializing in architecture, interior design, contract and furnishing (both in the written press, radio, television and, of course, social networks and blogosphere).

6. The winners will receive a diploma and a gift, and there will be the possibility of projects being presented at international fairs, which Beltá & Frajumar attends.

For the evaluation of the projects presented, a judging panel will be assembled, composed of professionals related to shopping and hotel departments, architecture, interior design, decoration and furniture design.

The identity of the members of the judges will be made public in a variety of specialized media as well as on the competition website www.intercidec.es.

JUDGES VERDICTOn 03/10/2018, the Jury’s decision will be published on the contest website.

AWARDS CEREMONY This will take place on 24/10/2018 at the International Convention Centre of Barcelona (CCIB), during InteriHOTEL, an event that will bring together important public officials and professionals, as well as communication media for national and international dissemination.

* Participants can vote for their favourite project.You can acquaint yourself all the relevant information in this regard, as well as the evaluation criteria of the entries, questions related to the property rights of the same and the prevailing legal conditions and access the complete rules and conditions at www.intercidec.es

Beltá & Frajumar invites professional architects and interior designers of habitat environments to participate in the International Design Competition Beltá & Frajumar, InterCIDEC’18.

The objective of this contest is to generate innovative proposals, based on the analysis of the emerging needs of hotel users. It is intended to enhance the professional career of the participants, who are offered the opportunity to convert their projects into real contracts, which can be manufactured and installed in the new hotels with which Beltá & Frajumar works.

CATEGORIES AND PARTICIPANTSThere are two categories in which you can participate either individually or as a team. PROFESSIONAL CATEGORYAny architect, interior designer or studio / company / interior design team can participate, among others.

STUDENT CATEGORYStudents who, during this year, are enrolled in studies related to architecture, interior design and design or similar can participate.

THEME Contemporary design of a LOBBY / BAR space for a hotel. This space must not exceed 60 m2 in area where the toilet/restroom must be included (mandatory). Each contestant can submit as many proposals as they wish.

Beltá & Frajumar invites professional architects and interior designers of habitat environments to participate in the International Design Competition Beltá & Frajumar, InterCIDEC’18.

The objective of this contest is to generate innovative proposals, based on the analysis of the emerging needs of hotel users. It is intended to enhance the professional career of the participants, who are offered the opportunity to convert their projects into real contracts, which can be manufactured and installed in the new hotels with which Beltá & Frajumar works.

CATEGORIES AND PARTICIPANTSThere are two categories in which you can participate either individually or as a team. PROFESSIONAL CATEGORYAny architect, interior designer or studio / company / interior design team can participate, among others.

STUDENT CATEGORYStudents who, during this year, are enrolled in studies related to architecture, interior design and design or similar can participate.

THEME Contemporary design of a LOBBY / BAR space for a hotel. This space must not exceed 60 m2 in area where the toilet/restroom must be included (mandatory). Each contestant can submit as many proposals as they wish.

The documentation for the project presentation consists of:

1. The registration form included at the end of the basis and in www.intercidec.es.

2. A copy of the DNI or Passport and CIF in the case of a company participating.

3. Professional or student accreditation (depending on the category in which you participate).

3.1. Architect / Interior Designer / Designer: career professional or graduate. 3.2. Student accreditation in interior design: currently enrolled in studies related to architecture, interior design, and design or similar.

4. Sworn statement by the participant: The participants will sign the statement available at www.intercidec.es.

5. PROJECT STATEMENT: With a maximum length of 20 bound pages. The minimum contents of the statement will be the following: 5.1 Conceptual and explanatory resume: It must contain a description of the project idea, the aspects that give it originality, its differentiated value, the type of environment, target audience... It is important to highlight the innovative components, either at a conceptual, formal, functional, material and/or emotional level.

5.2 Graphical representation: Sketches and dimensioned plans of the project (individual parts and ensemble), indicating the technical details of the project. 3D rendering. 5.3 Other noteworthy aspects: Materials, production processes, integrated technologies, installation, environmental values or other constraints such as transport or assembly must be specified, if these are an important variable in the project. That is to say, they can increase the value of the proposal or carry data that could help improve its evaluation.* Remember that the elements that make up the presentation of the project must be anonymous, only the NAME OF THE PROJECT must appear.

6. DISPLAY PANEL: A2 size (420 x 594 mm.) rigid stand In which is indicated:

- Title of the project

- Summary of the conceptual / explanatory aspects. The idea behind and value of the proposal.

- Images or 3D representations of the setting (3D Rendering).

* Remember that these elements of the project must be anonymous, only the NAME OF THE PROJECT must appear.

7. Alongside the physical presentation, a USB memory stick, CD or DVD should be attached with the digital contents of the project’s statement and the display panel (formats, texts and images).

The projects must be presented in both physical format and digital format, indicating:

PROFESSIONAL CATEGORY1. In the Professional Category, a single prize of € 5,000 will be awarded.

STUDENT CATEGORY2. In the Student Category, a single prize of € 2,000 will be awarded.

IN BOTH CATEGORIES3. If any of the winning projects finally results in a contract/sale of the project for installation in a hotel, the creator/winner will be entitled to the relevant economic benefits.

4. The judging panel reserves the right to grant any runner-up prize it deems appropriate. These prizes, without economic content, consist of a gift and the

possibility of opting for the corresponding royalties, in case that the project is sold to a hotel client among other collaborations.

5. In addition, press releases will be issued on the results of the Contest, which will be distributed throughout the principal media specializing in architecture, interior design, contract and furnishing (both in the written press, radio, television and, of course, social networks and blogosphere).

JUDGES VERDICTOn 03/10/2018, the Jury’s decision will be published on the contest website.

AWARDS CEREMONY This will take place on 24/10/2018 at the International Convention Centre of Barcelona (CCIB), during InteriHOTEL, an event that will bring together important public officials and professionals, as well as communication media for national and international dissemination.

4. Sworn statement by the participant: The participants will sign the statement available at www.intercidec.es.

5. PROJECT STATEMENT: With a maximum length of 20 bound pages. The minimum contents of the statement will be the following: 5.1 Conceptual and explanatory resume: It must contain a description of the project idea, the aspects that give it originality, its differentiated value, the type of environment, target audience... It is important to highlight the innovative components, either at a conceptual, formal, functional, material and/or emotional level.

5.2 Graphical representation: Sketches and dimensioned plans of the project (individual parts and ensemble), indicating the technical details of the project. 3D rendering. 5.3 Other noteworthy aspects: Materials, production processes, integrated technologies, installation, environmental values or other constraints such as transport or assembly must be specified, if these are an important variable in the project. The objective of this contest is to generate innovative proposals, based on the analysis of the emerging needs of hotel users. It is intended to enhance the professional career of the participants, who are offered the opportunity to convert their projects into real contracts, which can be manufactured and installed in the new hotels with which Beltá & Frajumar works.

CATEGORIES AND PARTICIPANTSThere are two categories in which you can participate either individually or as a team. PROFESSIONAL CATEGORYAny architect, interior designer or studio / company / interior design team can participate, among others.

STUDENT CATEGORYStudents who, during this year, are enrolled in studies related to architecture, interior design and design or similar can participate.

THEME Contemporary design of a LOBBY / BAR space for a hotel. This space must not exceed 60 m2 in area where the toilet/restroom must be included (mandatory). Each contestant can submit as many proposals as they wish.

3.1. Architect / Interior Designer / Designer: career professional or graduate. 3.2. Student accreditation in interior design: currently enrolled in studies related to architecture, interior design, and design or similar.

4. Sworn statement by the participant: The participants will sign the statement available at www.intercidec.es.

5. PROJECT STATEMENT: With a maximum length of 20 bound pages. The minimum contents of the statement will be the following: 5.1 Conceptual and explanatory resume: It must contain a description of the project idea, the aspects that give it originality, its differentiated value, the type of environment, target audience... It is important to highlight the innovative components, either at a conceptual, formal, functional, material and/or emotional level.

5.2 Graphical representation: Sketches and dimensioned plans of the project (individual parts and ensemble), indicating the technical details of the project. 3D rendering. 5.3 Other noteworthy aspects: Materials, production processes, integrated technologies, installation, environmental values or other constraints such as transport or assembly must be specified, if these are an important variable in the project. That is to say, they can increase the value of the proposal or carry data that could help improve its evaluation.* Remember that the elements that make up the presentation of the project must be anonymous, only the NAME OF THE PROJECT must appear.

6. DISPLAY PANEL: A2 size (420 x 594 mm.) rigid stand In which is indicated:

- Title of the project

- Summary of the conceptual / explanatory aspects. The idea behind and value of the proposal.

- Images or 3D representations of the setting (3D Rendering).

* Remember that these elements of the project must be anonymous, only the NAME OF THE PROJECT must appear.

7. Alongside the physical presentation, a USB memory stick, CD or DVD should be attached with the digital contents of the project’s statement and the display panel (formats, texts and images).
