1 of 20 Abdulilāh Lahmami: “Response to the accusations from Omar Jamaiki and the Brixton Administration” An opening response to the accusations from Omar Jamayki, Abdulhaq Ashanti and the Brixton Masjid Administration ﺑﺳم ﷲ اﻟرﺣﻣن اﻟرﺣﯾمIntroduction: Abul-Hasan Al-Ma’ribi and Ali Hasan Al-Halabi are two individuals (both of whom Brixton have accommodated and promoted over the years and thereafter their defenders) who were known to praise and recommend deviants. The major scholars had refuted them with clear evidences, such as: Adnān Ar’oor, Muhammad Al-Maghrawi, Abu Ishāq al-Huwayni, Muhammad Hassān and others, who have a similar methodology of al-Qutb. This latter group have clear statements of takfeer in accordance to the methodology of the Khawārij. They also had affiliations with misguided groups such as Ihya Turath in Kuwait. To defend their actions and justify why they were keeping company with these people, they started to play with the religion and invent false principles. They targeted the field of Jarh and Ta’dil (Criticism and Praise). They came out with their principles after the death of the major scholars like Shaykh Albāni, Shaykh Bin Baz, Shaykh Uthaymin and Shaykh Muqbil rahimahum Allāh, knowing it would be easier to spread them. Shaykh Rabee’ b. Hādi, Shaykh Abdulrahman Muhyudeen, Shaykh 'Ubayd al-Jābiri, Shaykh Muhammad b. Hādi and others refuted all of their false principles which include statements such as “there must be consensus of the scholars before it is binding upon me to accept their disparagement or tabdee’”, “their statements are not binding upon me,” "let us not differ amongst ourselves over those we differ over," "We rectify and do not disparage," "If you judge, you are to be judged." They tried to validate these principles through misquotes, distortions and lies. Brixton Masjid themselves (along with their long-term allies in Luton) maintained links, translated material and even defended the likes of Ali Hasan, Abul Hasan and Muhammad Al-Maghrawi even after they had been declared deviants and innovators by the scholars. But they went further as Brixton Masjid administration chose to translate material in refutation of the Salafi Scholar Shaykh Rabee' b. Hādi (hafidhahullāh) accusing him of “extremism” and “defaming the people of Sunnah”! It is therefore strange that Omar al-Jamayki, may Allāh guide him to honesty, had the audacity to demand clarification from myself whilst he along with his administration defamed this Imām of the Sunnah as can be seen below!

Introduction:

Abul-HasanAl-Ma’ribiandAliHasanAl-Halabiaretwoindividuals(bothofwhomBrixtonhaveaccommodatedandpromotedovertheyearsandthereaftertheirdefenders)whowereknowntopraiseandrecommenddeviants.Themajorscholarshadrefutedthemwithclearevidences,suchas:AdnānAr’oor,MuhammadAl-Maghrawi,AbuIshāqal-Huwayni,MuhammadHassānandothers,whohaveasimilarmethodologyofal-Qutb.Thislattergrouphaveclearstatementsoftakfeer in accordance to the methodology of the Khawārij. Shaykh Abdullāh al-Ahmarī said: I asked ourShaykh Ibn Bāz (rahimahullāh) over fourteenyears ago, “O our Shaykh! Shaykh Rabee’criticises so-and-so and so-and-so and hecriticises the callers.”So Shaykh Ibn Bāzrahimahullahresponded:“FearAllāh!ThemanisanImāmintheSunnah!”(SeeAn-Naqulātal-Salafiyyah fi-al-Radd ‘ala al-Tā’ifat al-Haddādiyyah,51)

Shaykhal-Albāni(rahimahullāh)said:

“InsummaryIsay:Theflag-bearertodayinthisera in thearenaal-Jarhwa-Ta’deel in truth isourbrother,Dr.Rabee’.Andthosewhorefute

himdonotdosobaseduponknowledge,ever!”

Ibn ‘Uthaymeen (rahimahullāh) stated in a recorded lecture: “Indeed we praise Allāh, thePerfectandMostHigh,thatHemakesiteasyforourbrotherDrRabee’binHādial-Madkhalitovisitthisregion,sothattheonetowhomcertainmattersarenotapparentmaycometoknowthatourbrother,mayAllāhgrantusandhimsuccess,isuponSalafiyyah,thewayoftheSalaf.AndIdonotmeanherethatSalafiyyahisahizb(partisangroup)whichissetuptoopposetheMuslimsoutsideofit,butImeanbySalafiyyahthatShaykhRabee’isupon-thepathoftheSalafinhismethodology.EspeciallyinthefieldofactualisingTawhidandthrowingasidewhatopposesit…Thevisitofourbrother,ShaykhRabee’b.Hāditothisregion,ourcityof`Unayzah,nodoubtwillhaveagoodeffect-anditwillbecomecleartomanyofthepeoplewhatusedtobehiddenfromthem,duetothescare-mongeringandrumour-mongeringandlettingloosethetongues[ofdiscord].Andhownumerousarethosewhoareremorsefulaboutwhattheysaidconcerningthescholars,whenitbecomescleartothemthatthatthescholarsareuponthetruth.”

SolookatthepraiseofthisgreatscholarforShaykhRabee’,thisisanexampleofthehonourthatis due to the scholars of thisUmmah from Imams of our time.Only a person ofbid’ah andhizbiyyahoronedevoidofunderstandingwouldaccepttheferociousslandersofAliHasanal-Halabiwhosaid:“ThemanhajofSayyidQutbislessdangerousbyfarupontheSalafida’wahthanthemanhajofRabee’al-Madkhali!”(thefullstatementiscitedonsahab.net).WhocouldeveracceptsuchrevilementagainstascholaroftheSunnah,andthenpromoteAliHasanastheir

scholar?!ComparetheImamsstatementswithyourdisparagementofShaykhRabee'OBrixtonMasjidAdministrationwhichincludesAbdulHaqAshanti'stranslationsandOmarJumayki(non-clarityagenda)exceptagainstthesalafees.Shameonyou!IvisitedShaykhRabee'inhishome(2ndRabee'Awwal1437/13thDecember2-15)andtheShaykhcalledusupstairsandwewentthrough this reply to you with all the doubts mentioned and he said: As for Ali Hasan'srefutationagainsthimwhichyouBrixtonMasjidtranslatedthenitdoesnotharmus.HealsoaddedafewcommentswhichIwillquotebelow.Andintheend,theShaykhsaid:GoforwardandclarifythetruthinthismatterandhesaidrefutetheirheadssuchasAliHasan,etc.andtheirdoubts.Alhamdulillāh.

SoIsay:Indeed,youpeoplehavetheaudacitytospeakagainstShaykhRabee’(hafidhahullāh)inthismanner-itisuponyoutofearAllāh,andhonourtheScholarsofSunnah.Furthermore,youraffiliates in Luton attacked Shaykh Muhammad Ibn Hādi (hafidhullāh) with the severest oflanguagethattheytookfromtheinnovatorAbul-Hasan:

Sotheclaimthatyoumakethatwedonotwantto occupy the community with these affairs isFALSE as is clear from your persistent attacksagainst thesescholarsandspreadingAliHasan'sprinciples to destroy this blessed methodology.Wearecertainlynot inattentiveof the fact thatyourselves and Luton are a united group inopposition to Salafis in the UK who are uponclarity. You abandon the advice of the SalafischolarswhoknewyouandstillknowyousuchasShaykh Muhammad al-Banna (rahimahullāh),Shaykh Rabee’, Shaykh ‘Ubayd, ShaykhMuhammadb.Hādiandothers.Theyencouragedyouwithclarityandfirmnessuponthetruthandtheycontinuallyadvisedwithevidences(suchas

ShaykhRabee’sadviceinhisaudio:“ADecisiveWordOnGroupPartisanship”whichwasforyoubackin1998).Notonlydoyoudisregardtheadviceofthescholars(thatisbaseduponevidence),yougofurtherandpropagatethefalseprincipleideasandslursofAliHasanagainsttheScholarsofSunnah– to theextent thatyouhave transmittedandagreedwith the innovated IkhwāniHalabiteprinciple“tomakeitbindingtoacceptthetabdee’ofapersontheremustbeijmā’”and“Iamnotobligatedtoacceptthedisparagementevenifitisbaseduponclearevidence!”ThisfalsehoodwasfedtoyoubyAbdul-MālikRamadāni(mayAllāhguidehim)andtranslatedontooneofyouraffiliatedwebsitesthatdeceptivelycallsitself“salafimanhaj!"Theseprinciplesarenotbasedupon correct evidences,nor are yourpositionsbaseduponproofs; you follow

principlesinventedforyoubyyourmisguidedleaders:AliHasan,Abul-Hasan,andsoon.Thepoetsaid: “She accusedme of her own ailment and crept away!” Even in your disingenuous andinsolent letter to ShaykhMuhammadb.Hādi, you couldnotbring yourselves to retract yoursupportofAliHasanAl-HalabiandAbul-Hasanandtheirlikes–youfumblearoundinthedarkaccusingShaykhMuhammadb.Hādiof“oppression”andbeing“disingenuous”wheninrealityyouaretheoneswhooppresstheScholars.HerearejustsomesamplesoftheinsolentlanguageyouhavechosentouseagainstShaykhMuhammadb.Hādi,whoadvisedyouwith truthandclarityandsincerity:

Was he wrong in seeking from you to free yourselves from the innovators whom you havesupported and continue to defend like Ali Hasan?!Or do you await an ijmā’ of the scholarsregardlessofclear-cutproofs?!WherewasyouropenlettertoLutonCTIwhentheyreviledthescholarsofSunnahanddefendedthemisguidedAbul-Hasan?!Orisyour“honour”worthmorethanthatofthescholars,andworthmorethanclarifyingtheDeenofAllāh?Andyoutranslatewhateversuitsyourmethodologyagainstthesescholars,lookatthebelowill-manneredlettersagainstShaykhUbayd-andthenyouclaim‘wearenotbusyingthecommunitywiththeseaffairs.’

IntheWest,beforethesetrials,theSalafiswereunited.AlhamdulillahwetooktheadviceofourscholarslikeShaykhIbn'Uthaymeen(rahimahullāh),Shaykhal-Ghudayanrahimahullāh,ShaykhFawzan, Shaykh Rabee’, ShaykhMuhammad al-Banna (rahimahullāh), Shaykh Ubaid, ShaykhMuqbil(rahimahullāh),ShaykhMuhammadIbnHādi,ShaykhAbdullāhal-Bukhāri,etc.whospokewithevidencesandproofstoshowhowthesepeoplehaddeviatedandwhytheirprincipleswerefalse.However,thoseatBrixtonMosqueplayedgamesandshowedeventuallythattheyare“nottruthful”intheirspeechasstatedbyShaykhMuhammadIbnHādiandothers.Soeverytimetheyarementioned,theyquicklytrytodefendthemselvesbyattackingwhoeverspokeaboutthem.Atthesametime,theyexposethemselves,bydefendingtheveryprinciplesofAliHasanasthereaderwillsee,orbytranslatingtheirrefutationsagainstShaykhRabee’whichshowsclearlythattheyaresupportersanddefendersofthesedeviants.Theneachtimetheyarecaughtout,theytrytocleartheirownnamewith:“thisisnottheviewofBrixton…andthatisnottheviewofBrixton…”-Weholdyouresponsibleforthepeopleyouinvite,youdefendandyoupropagatefromyourplatforms.Youinvitethem,displayunitywiththem,translatetheirmaterialandwhenquestionedandchallengedyouturnagainstthosewhochallengeyou,andyouutterabsurditieslike:“Itisnotbindinguponustoacceptthetabdee’of‘soandso’ifthescholarshavedifferedunlessthereisanijmā’”–theseprincipleswhichyouhavetakenfromyourmisguidedteachers.

IwasaskedaboutBrixtonattheendofalectureIgaveandIspokeabouttherealitythatwasknowntome-andIborewitnesstothishistory.Isaidtheyhavebeenplayinggamesformorethan25years,whichisfactuallyincorrect.Ishouldhavesaidabout15years.ThiswasaslipandIcorrectthathere,openly.

In thisarticle, Iwant toexplain thepositionof thescholarsonBrixtonMasjidAdministrationincludingOmarJumaykiandalsospeakaboutafewprinciplestheyhavelearnedfromAliHasanandothers.AliHasanandhisfellowconspiratorsinventedtheseprinciplestojustifywhytheykeepcompanywiththedeviantswhomthescholarsrefuted.SowhenthescholarscriticisedandrefutedthesedeviantsinaccordancewiththeSalafiManhaj,theyusedtheseprinciplestoshieldthemselves.Theirfollowerswouldsay,“thereisnoconsensusonAbul-HasanorAliHasan,sowearenotobligatedtoaccepttheJarhortheTabdee’.”Inthisarticle,thiswillbemadeclear,inshā’Allāh.BrixtonMasjidtranslateandputoutthesesameprinciplesofthesemisguidedonesandusethemtojustifywhytheyrejectthedisparagementofasinglescholarwhobringsclearproof.

Firstly-TheadviceofthescholarswhomBrixtonleftwasalreadygiven

AsforBrixtonMasjidadministration,thenfirstly,Iamnotboundbyanytimeconstraintyousetand I intended to reply inmy own time after seeking advice from the people of knowledgebeforehand.Besides,howmany timesBrixtonMasjidhavebeenadvisedby thosewhoknewtheminitiallybuteachtimetheyturnawaydelaying(ormorecommonlyoutrightrefusing)anyclarification. I hold the same position as the following scholars regarding Brixton MasjidAdministration,thosewhoknowtheircondition,thescholarswhohaveadvisedthembuttheydidnottaketheiradvice,thelikesofShaykhRabee'b.Hādiwhosaid"they(BrixtonMasjid)havenotincreasedinanythingexcepttribulationupontribulation"andShaykhMuhammadb.Hādiwhosaid,"theyendedupwithAbulHasan,AliHasanandthosetypesofpeople...Andwhatbecameapparentisthattheyarenottruthful!ThesepeoplefromBrixtonMasjidwouldsitwithmeandlistenandsay'yes'andthengoanddotheopposite",andShaykhUbaydal-Jābiriwhoknowsoftheirerrorsandwasreadytoresolvemattersbuttheydidnotturnuptoameetingtheyagreedtocometo-andnotforgettingShaykhMuhammadal-Banna(rahimahullāh)whoadvisedeveryoneaboutthedangersofAbulHasanandAliHasanwhichItranslatedintheprintedbook"UntilYouReturntoYourDin"(in2009).

AndyoucanseeBrixtonMasjid'swagingwaragainstthescholarsthatadvisedtheminitially-whomtheydidnotreturntoforadvice-butinsteadpersistedintranslatingAliHasan'srefutationonShaykhRabee'inaccusinghimofextremismanddefamingthepeopleofSunnah!!

Secondly-Makingilzām(imposition/binding)ofIjmā'(consensus)beforeacceptingthetabdee'ofapersoncriticisedbythescholars.

OmarJumayki,theImamofBrixtonMasjidandShuramember,saidonYouTube(publishedon13thOct2015),"Youhaveaccusedusthatwehavecomewithsomefalseprincipleregardingthatwedonotaccepta jarhunless there isan ijmā', thatprinciple is false, it'sa ridiculousprinciple."

IaskthereadertocomparethisstatementofOmarJumaykiandhisstatementbelowalongwiththeBrixtonadmin(whichheispartof)andseetherealityoftheirsituationwhichwillnotchangewithafewYouTubevideosintendedtodeceptivelycoverupthereality.Thereaderwillseethattheyhaveclearlyopposedthemethodologyof theSalafandthescholarsofAhlusSunnahbyblindlyfollowingAliHasan'sfalseinterpretation.

FIRSTFACT:

OmarJumaykisaidin“ClarifyingtheDoubtsPart1”(Youtube,published8thSept2013)abouttwo years ago, "As for this matter regarding that some of the mashayikh have passed thejudgementonShaykhAliHasanthatheisfromAhlulBid'ahandpassedthatjudgement,thenweholdthatthepersonwhoisaalim,amujtahidwhohasthetoolstomakeijtihadthathehavetherighttomakeijtihadbutasforthat...butalsoseeingthatShaykhAliHasaniswellknownthroughtheMuslimworldthatweknowheisapersonofdawahthatheisonewhoisrenownedstudentofShaykhAl-Albāni(rahimahullāh)orassomerefertohimasImamMuhammadNasral-DeenAl-Albānithathe(AliHasan)havealongconnectionwiththepeopleofEnglandforyearsfromwhatIrecallregardingteachingthepeopleandofrecenttimeshehassomedifferencesbetweenhimselfandsomeofthemashayikhandledtosomeofthemashayikhhavepasshukmthatheisfromahlulBid'ahfromwhatIunderstandasforthismatter,it'samatterforanymasjidandatalibal-ilmandMuslimifhefindthereisadifferencebetweenpeopleofilmthenwelooktoseewhataretheissuesthatonebeingdiscussedthepersonwhohasthattooltolookattheissuebeingdiscussedandalsotoseewhataretheaqwāloftheotherulamawhoknowofthesituationandfromwhatweknowandhavecometoourattentionisthatthemajorityoftheulamadoesnotsharethisviewandsomeofthemhavewrittenbookandhaveopenlyclarifiedtheirpositionregarding thismatterandof thoseandyouknowmanywhowecanmentionnamesbut it issufficienttoknowoftheulamaandhavelookedatthismatteranddoesnotdeemconcerningthishukmthatispassedthattheyagreewithit."

I say, sincewhenwas 'themajority of the scholars' a proof that a criticismof theirs tobecorrect.Surely,iftheproofisestablishedfromoneofthescholarsthenthatissufficient.

WhenShaykhIbn'Uthaymeen(rahimahullāh)wasaskedaboutAdnanAr'oorandwastoldthatShaykhSālihal-Fawzan,Shaykhal-Ghudayanandothershavespokenabouthim,hesaid:Iaccepttheadvicethatcomesfromthesescholars.Hedidnothesitate.HedidnotwaittoseeiftherewasamajorityorIjmā'.ShaykhIbnUthaymeen(rahimahullāh)wasaskedaboutSayidQutbandhereferredtothewritingsofShaykhRabee'whohasbroughttheproofagainsthismistakes.Again,hedidn'taskaboutthemajority.Whenthetruthcomestousfromaknownscholarwithproofitisaccepted.

SECONDFACT

BrixtonAdmin(OmarJumayki,AbdulHaqqal-Ashanti,Mustaphaal-Camarooni,MuhammedSidi,NabilDeen,TālibAlexander)on30DhulHijjah1436-13October2015state:

"Lahmami asserts that BrixtonMasjid hold that therehas to be anijmā' on specific individuals in order for a criticism of them to beaccepted.SuchacontentionhasneverbeenarguedbyanyonefromBrixtonMasjid.Theallegationof"viewingthathastobeijmā'inJarhwaTa'dīlwasanissueraisedrecentlyagainstShaykhAliHasan.Yetuponfurther investigation,whatwasactuallyasserted isas Imamad-DhahabinotedwhichisthatinJarhwaTa'dilwhenonewantstomakeilzāmandimpositionoftabdee'onotherpeopletherehastobeanijmā'notthattherehastobeanijmā'generallyforajarh.ThiswasalsoexplainedbyShaykhAbdulmaalikal-Ramadaanisothisisanarchetypalstrawmanargument."

Ifweseeamanupon falsehoodanduponamistakewesay, "It isnotbindingonme(toaccept)untilthepeople(orscholars)unite?!"Thisisnotcorrect.Thisspeechisfalsehood.Hewantsto let Islamget lostandhewantstowaterdownthisDeen(tamyee').Thisisallfromfearandcowardice.Masākeen,theydidnotunderstandtheDeennordotheyhavefirmness,haveyouunderstood?Theywanttowalkwitheveryonetopleasethegeneralmasses.Thegeneralpeoplearemasākeen,mostofthemareignorant:

وإن تطع أكثر من في األرض یضلوك عن سبیل اهللا“Ifyouweretofollowmostofthoseonearththeywillleadyouawayfromthepathof

Allāh.”[Sād:14]

الناس ولو حرصت بمؤمنین وما أكثر

“Youwillnotfindmostofmankind,evenifyoustrove,tobetruebelievers.”[Yusuf:103]

Whatisthisstatement?!OOmarJumayki,AbdulhaqAshantiandtherestofBrixtonAdmin?Wasthisfromtheadviceofthescholars?ShaykhAbdullaahal-Bukhārisaidthatthisisanopendoorto let thatperson invitedtosaywhathe likes.This isutter falsehoodsoyoucancontinuetoaccommodatethefollowersofal-Halabi,AbulHasanandal-Hajuri–mayAllāhguideyoutothetruth.TakeShaykhMuhammadal-Banna(rahimahullāh)'sexamplewhenheheardanAbulHasandefenderwantedtoteachinhismasjid,herefusedtolethim.Whatiswrongwithyoupeople?WhenAliHasanwasaskedaboutthestatementthattheCompanionsoftheProphet(sallāllāhi'alaihiwasallam)tobescumhesaid:Itdependswhosaidit!!BecauseheknowsitwassaidbyAbul-Hasan,whomhedefends!Later,hebacktrackedwhenherealiseditwasharminghim.

TheMessengersallallāhu 'alaihiwasallamsaid,"WhenmyCompanionsarementionedthenwithhold (from speaking against them)." [Tabarani (2/96) and Sheikh Albāni (rahimahullāh)authenticateditinAs-Silsilah(34)].

Thatwe are to refute falsehood, and speakagainstevil–evenmoresowhenitisyourplatformandspeakersyouinvitewhoshareplatformwithknowntakfeerissuchasAbdulrahmanHasan.AndthisiswhomyoudefendOmarJumayki,AbdulHaqAshantiandBrixtonAdministration.Clearforalltosee.

AbulHasanhimselfaftermakinga“tawbah”forsayingtheCompanionswerescum-andsaying Abu Sa'eed al-Khudri (radhiallāhu'anhu) does not have a good opinion(concerning texts about Ibn Sayaad)! Andsaying Usama b. Zayd (radhiallāhu 'anhu)washasty!TheninaseparategatheringAbulHasan said that these scholars ofMadinahwho corrected him do not know what arevilement of the Companions is, and thatthisstatementisnotinrealityarevilement!Hence taking back his “tawbah” as ShaykhRabee showed in his exposition “MarāhilAbilHasan”. Clear for thosewho read andfollow up but everyone knows where youdrinkfrom:

مشربھم أناس كل علم قد

Imam al-Awzāí rahimahullāh said, "Do not givetheabilityfortheinnovatortodebate(withyou)

such that he allows a trial and tribulationanddoubtstogrowinyourhearts!"[al-Bid'awa al-Nahi 'anha:116] Abu Mudhaffar al-Sam'āni(rahimahullāh)said,"AndknowthatwhenyoucontemplatethebiographyoftheCompanionsandthosethatcameafterthemfrom the Salaf al-Sālih you will find themforbiddingdebatingtheinnovatorswiththemost clearest of forbiddance." [Intisār Li-AshābilHadeeth]

Shaykh Rabee' added, "And did Ibn 'Abbas(radhiallāhu 'anhuma) take thepublicwithhim to listen to the debate with the Khawārij? Rather, he went alone and after seekingpermissionfromtheleaderoftheBelieversatthattimeAlib.AbiTālib(radhiallāhu'anhu)."[1/3/1437]

ولا تقف ما لیس لك به علم إن السمع والبصر والفؤاد كل أولئك كان عنه مسئولا

“Andsonotspeakwithoutknowledge,indeedthehearing,thesight,theheart;allofthesethepersonwillbequestionabout.”[al-Isrā:36]

IbnKatheerrahimahullāhsaid,"YouwillbequestionedabouttheseontheDayofJudgement."

ItwasnotyouOmar Jumayki,AbdulhaqAshantioranyofyou inBrixtonAdministrationwhocorrectedthisteacherofyoursasyousay,"Themosqueisnotresponsibleforpersonalviewsor ijtihād opinionwhich a teachermay have."ShaykhAbdullaah al-Bukhāri said that this issimilartotheikhwāniprinciple,“Wecooperatewitheachotherinthatwhichweagreeuponandasforthatwhichwedisagreeweexcuseeachother!”(EveninusoolandfundamentalsofthisDeen).

Alhamdulilah,Allāhhasshownthescholarsandstudentsofknowledgethathaveadvisedyouthroughout theyears - andmanypeoplehave seen thatyouarenot truthful suchasShaykhMuhammadb.Hādi.IprayAllāhguidesyoutodistinguishthetruthfromfalsehood.ShaykhAl-Albāni(rahimahullāh)usedtosay:

یعرف الشر من الخیر یقع فیهلشر لكن لتوقیه ومن العرفت الشر ال ل“Ilearnedfalsehoodnotforthesakeofjustknowingitbuttokeepawayfromit

Andwhoeverdoesnotdistinguishbetweenfalsehoodandgood,hefallsintofalsehood”
