Located primarily in the state of Wyoming, it also

extends into Montana and Idaho.

Established by U.S. Congress on March 1st 1872.

Yellowstone then became the first national park in the world.

Its immense landmass spans over 8,900 square km.

Known for its wide variety of wild life.

Its also home to many type of eco systems, the subalpine forest being the most abundant.

There’s more to Yellowstone then you would think. It’s more devastating then a nuclear bomb…

It’s… It’s… It’s a…

Yellowstone records between 1000 to 2000

minor earth quakes per year.

Signs of a super eruption come with days of major earth quakes.

Giving days of notice.

Pre-Eruption

Yellowstone is categorized as a super volcano

because of the size of its enormous magma chamber.

The chamber holds enough magma to cover 1000 cubic kilometers upon eruption.

Magma Facts

Page 8: Located primarily in the state of Wyoming, it also extends into Montana and Idaho. Established by U.S. Congress on March 1 st 1872. Yellowstone.

Caused by earth quakes that shift the inner

crust causing cracks for the magma to flow into.

Resulting in the magma melting through these crevices, igniting gases causing an unstoppable chain reaction.

Thus causing a super eruption!

Super Eruption!!

Any big eruption causes cooling of the

atmosphere.

This global cooling would only last roughly 2 years until the ash cloud completely settles.

Caused by the release of billions of tons of ash.

Also, air travel would be suspended.

Global Effects

Lava and ash would wipeout surrounding eco

systems.

Resulting in massive food shortages in North and South America.

Europe and Asia could also be affected by drifting ash clouds.

Eco System Destruction

70 thousand years ago was last documented

super eruption.

It wiped out all surrounding eco systems and wildlife across the world believe it or not!

Needless to say, it would be much more devastating today because human beings didn’t even exist back then.

In the Past…

Page 12: Located primarily in the state of Wyoming, it also extends into Montana and Idaho. Established by U.S. Congress on March 1 st 1872. Yellowstone.

Considering its 50,000 plus years overdue,

preparation needs to be had: Save money to flee the country before the

eruption, Have lots of extra food and water Possibly build a bunker

All of these are great ways to help deal with this tragedy

How to Prepare for Yellowstone

This baby is going to be gigantic.

In Conclusion

If there is no preparation done, you will no longer exist.

Simple as that folks.

RUN!!!
