New Delhi, Dec 30Indian skipper Virat Kohli andpacer Jasprit Bumrah are theonly two players from thecountry who have beenincluded in the 11-memberWisden’s T20 International teamof the decade. Surprisingly,w i ck e t ke e p e r - b a t sm a nMahindra Singh Dhoni and staropener Rohit Sharma havemissed out on making it to theteam, which is led by Australia'slimited-overs skipper AaronFinch. Kohli, who has amasseda total of 2,633 runs in 75Twenty20 Internationals he hasplayed for the Men in Blue so far,has been named at No.3 spot inthe squad. "While Kohli’s recordin domestic T20 cricket is patchy, the same cannot be said ofT20Is. Kohli’s average of 53 wasthe best in the decade, and whilehis consistency compromises hisstrike-rate slightly, he is still ableto score at a good rate, even ifnot exceptional," Wisden saidabout Kohli. Bumrah, on theother hand, has bagged 51wickets in 41 T20Is since makinghis debut in the shortest format ofthe game against Australia inJanuary 2016."Despite only making his debutin 2016, Bumrah finds a spot inthis team thanks to his defensive

brilliance. Bumrah’s overalleconomy rate of 6.71 is thesecond best in the world amongquick bowlers, behind DaleSteyn. This statistic is moreimpressive when you considerhe did the majority of his bowlingin the death overs, where hiseconomy rate of 7.27 was theseventh best in the world, andcomfortably the best by a quickbowler. Bumrah is likely bowlthree overs at the death for thisside," it said.

Virat Kohli, Jasprit Bumrah included; MS Dhonimisses out in Wisden’s T20I team of decade

The full Wisden’s T20I teamof the decade is as follows:Aaron Finch (c) (Australia),Colin Munro (NewZealand), Virat Kohli(India), Shane Watson(Australia), Glenn Maxwell(Australia), Jos Buttler(England), Mohammad Nabi(Afghanistan), David Willey(England), Rashid Khan(Afghanistan), JaspritBumrah (India), LasithMalinga (Sri Lanka).
