the Vigilant™ NetStream IP encoders line of products plays an

essential role in today’s increasingly digitized IP surveillance

systems. NetStream converts the output of analog cameras into

high resolution, highly efficient real-time MPEG-4 video and audio

streams, and delivers them over the IP network to a network-

based recording solution such as the Vigilant NetVR™ to an IP

control room solution such as the Vigilant NetView™.

Offering one of the industry’s broadest channels-per-chassis

range, the NetStream series starts with a single channel, wall-

mounted solution, and scales up to 40 channels encoding rack-

mounted platform, equipped with redundant fans and power

supply modules.

The NetStream, together with NetVR, creates a unique, state-of-

the-art IP surveillance solution, which complies with today’s high-

performance CCTV standards for a fully networked environment.

Both are hybrid solutions and fully compatible with all of Vigilant’s

line of products.
