Project’s product / TechnologyThe project is dedicated installation based on the SCWO technology. Installation will allow an environment-friendly way recycle organic waste with the use of the heat of combustion.

With minimal alterations reactor may be used as:

Power installation for hydrogen energetics. Installation of hydrogen production will work on inert ingredients: aluminum powder and a mixture of water and hydrogen peroxide. This decision will allow first in the world create energy-effective installation. The aluminum–hydrogen installation will be with high-resource and continuous action.

At supercritical parameters of water (Тcr = 374.2 °С, Рcr = 217.6 atm) hydrogen bonds almost completely collapse, and molecules of water don't show coherence. From a polar liquid water is converted into nonpolar environment, the diffusion rate grows, and its oxidizing ability sharply increases. Hydrogen is practically in a free condition.

In processing of water mixtures of organic and inorganic compounds by supercritical water at temperatures 400 - 450 °C and pressure 220 - 250 atm not less than 99,99% organic compounds in the initial mixture are converted into the ecologically safe water, nitrogen and carbonate dioxide.

The developed installation is based on the SCWO technology.

Existing solutions / Advantages

The problems of recycle organic waste by existing methods:

► Nitrogen oxide NОx emissions ► Education "uncomfortable" solid precipitation or toxic flying

substances.► Difficulty igniting and maintaining the combustion of lean mixtures► Not all types of organic wastes can be recycled► Technologies are not profitable

Existing methods for recycling organic waste :

► Fire chambers► Plasma torches ► Gas turbines ► Fuel elements working on synthesis - gas

The proposed method solves the described problems. Method

provides complete single-phase oxidation of any organic

substances to safe products.

Characterized by processability high economic efficiency,

environmental safety.

► The amount energy generated of the installation covers power inputs to maintain the supercritical state of the substance

► The method allows to recycle highly toxic waste with a purity of 99.99%.

► Method provides in several times higher degree of oxidation products and 2-10 times more efficiency.

Waste water treatment for petrochemical enterprises;

Сleaning tanks and other facilities belonging to the Russian Railways (RZhD);

Recycling agricultural wastes, power stations which operate at waste incineration plants;

Recycling of toxic waste that had accumulated in landfills.

Target markets:

OJSC "SIBUR-Holding" confirmed the need 22 installations the average cost of rubles 30-55 million .

The overall market potential of biogas, and power/heat-generation at the biogas plants using wastes from the agricultural industry makes more than $18.4 billion in the Russian Federation.

the area aluminum-hydrogen energy, gas turbine power energy, SCWO, experience of the commercialization of major scientific and technological projects. They published dozens scientific works and carried out investment projects worth more than 1 billion rubles.

Team in this line-up was formed in 2012 to solve a particular problem - recycling waste water at a petrochemical plant. The problem of recycling was proposed to solve using technology SCWO aluminum developed by the authors . Combining the practical problem and missile technology gave start of the project.

At the same time with the development SCWO installation goes design a plant for utilization of liquid toxic waste the polygon «Сhernaya dyra» in Dzerzhinsk.
