Who Can Apply:
Students pursuing a course in veterinary studies (at MQF Level 7) abroad leading to registration of a
veterinary surgeon as determined by the board of veterinary surgeons.

Documents for applicants who are going to start their
studies from October 2020:
• A copy of Curriculum Vitae clearly stating all qualifications attained by applicant
• One (1) copy of the letter of Unconditional Letter of Acceptance from the recognised
institution applied for (if available at the time of application);
• A copy of the residence permit (where applicable)
• A copy of the MQRIC evaluation report or receipt
• A motivational statement
• 500 word abstract focussing on the impact your studies will have on the Veterinary
field in Malta.
• Academic transcripts (if any)
• Reference letter (See Appendix)
• Any other documentation which may assist the VSS Board to assess better the
applicant’s merit.

Documents for who has already started their course
prior December 2020 but from 2016 onwards:

Important Deadlines

than Friday 4 September 2020, noon, local time.
• The MQRIC Report should be provided by not later than Friday 4th September
2020, noon, local time.

Important Facts to Remember
• One can apply for the Veterinary Scholarship Scheme from the website
myscholarship.gov.mt.
• It, is important that to be able to apply for the Veterinary scholarship
scheme one has to have an e-id log in.
• All crucial information regarding the Veterinary Scholarship Scheme
can be found with in the regulations therefore, please read carefully.
This are available to view and download from the website.
• Individuals applying for the Veterinary Scholarships Scheme will be
required to upload an MQRIC Report if, applicants have request such
report but have not received it yet they are required to upload the
receipt instead. This would id provided by the MQRIC when applying for
the MQRIC Report.
