Humanoid- A robot that resembles a human that is used for entertainment and interaction with humans
Industrial robots – Automatically controlled robot used for manufacturing
Swarm robots – Are many simple robots
Nanorobots- Tiny devices that are used to maintain and protect the human body

1495 – Leonardo Divinci was said to have made a robot that could sit up and wave his hands.
1973 – Wabot-1 was created in Tokyo and was able to move and communicate in Japanese.
The majority of robots were created in Japan until about 2009-10 when America built our first full sized humanoid called CHARLI-L.
The most recent humanoid is the PET-PROTO that was created in 2012.
