SEPTEMBER VESTRY UPDATE
Mission Beyond – Food Pantry distributed 43 bags in July, 20 in August and 17 so far in September. Food boxes were delivered on behalf of the Food Bank. Outreach Fund stands at $200. Parishioners helped with 2 requests that the fund was unable to afford.
Mission Within – A sign-up sheet will be set up for volunteers to help out with the Sunday Morning time with the young children when they go out for part of the Church Service. The Youth will be making an All Saints Day Presentation this year as well as a Christmas Pageant. Plans are underway for Games Night, Bishop Bill’s Fall Weekend & a Ladies Advent Coffee event.

CONGRATULATIONS BISHOP BILLToday Bishop Bill celebrates a milestone birthday and we are honoured to have him as our preacher at the 10:30 am service. We are most grateful for Bishop Bill who continues to offer his encouraging spirit, his timely wisdom and his positive voice for our Parish and our Diocese. Please take time to welcome his family who have gathered together this weekend to celebrate his birthday; his son, Joe, his daughter, Moira, and her husband Kevin, and of course his two wonderful grandsons, Andy and Jack.
PLEASE NOTEThe Church Office will be getting a new floor on Monday and Tuesday to replace the old carpet. We are hoping some of our parishioners will lend a hand to move the furniture into the Sunday School Room after our time in the Lounge this morning. Organist at Holy Trinity in New Maryland, are preparing for two evensong services this fall with a joint choir leading us. The first service will take place at Holy Trinity in New Maryland on Sunday, October 28
at 4 pm. The second will take place, Sunday, November 18, at 4 pm.
FRIDAY MORNING COFFEE CORNER ON CHARLOTTE
We are looking for a few adults to volunteer to host the Coffee Corner once
a month (or more often if they wish). Time commitment would be from 9:30-11:30
am. Please speak with the Rector if you would like to help out. This is a ministry
where you will be blessed even more than you will bless.

Farraline Place The annual fundraising dinner for Farraline Place Seniors’ Home will be held on
Saturday, October 20, 2018 at the Fredericton Legion located at 199 Queen Street – with handicap access at both doors. The doors will open at 5:00pm with
dinner being served at 6:00pm. Dinner will consist of a roast beef dinner and again this year we will have a “Your Choice Auction” which everyone enjoyed so
much last year. The cost per ticket is $45 with $20 tax receipt to be issued. Tickets: Judy O’Donnell, 455-6443, Sharon Simms, 452-8909 or any ACW member.
