Summer Festivals: Volunteer Call Out Would you like to gain experience of working with artists and a producer on a new art installation at this year’s Bluedot festival in July? Between Stillness and Storm is a new work by artists Aidan Moesby and Tim Shaw, produced by Kerry Harker. The work uses weather- sensing equipment such as anemometers and weather balloons to form a sculptural installation responding to changing weather conditions, producing audio/visual outputs. We are looking for volunteers to help us invigilate the installation during its premiere at Bluedot Festival in Cheshire from 7-9 July, and possibly at additional festivals over the summer. This will take the form of alternating shifts of a maximum of four hours. We also need some volunteers to work shifts from midnight to 4am. We will never ask you to work alone on site, and all volunteers will be covered by our insurance while working on the installation. Volunteers will be given full training, and will benefit from having a free ticket to the three-day festival, including access to camping, worth £160. Bluedot is an award-winning festival of music, science, arts and culture against the backdrop of the Jodrell Bank deep space observatory and the iconic Lovell Telescope. See the full line up at www.discoverthebluedot.com . Volunteers will need their own transport to site and camping equipment. If you are interested in volunteering with us this summer, please complete the form below and return via email to Kerry Harker on [email protected] Name

Summer Festivals: Volunteer Call Out

Would you like to gain experience of working with artists and a producer on a new art installation at this year’s Bluedot festival in July?

Between Stillness and Storm is a new work by artists Aidan Moesby and Tim Shaw, produced by Kerry Harker. The work uses weather-sensing equipment such as anemometers and weather balloons to form a sculptural installation responding to changing weather conditions, producing audio/visual outputs.

See the full line up at www.discoverthebluedot.com.

Volunteers will need their own transport to site and camping equipment.

If you are interested in volunteering with us this summer, please complete the form below and return via email to Kerry Harker on [email protected]
