Jack Ripper established and currently operates Jack of all Trades. Jack established Jack of all

Trades in 1990, directly after graduating from the University of Oregon in Augusta. While

attending the University of Oregon in Augusta, Jack obtained a Bachelor Degree in horticulture

landscaping management. Directly after graduation, Jack established Jack of all Trades, and has

been in the professional landscaping business ever since. During the last 20 years, Jack of all

Trades has been able to provide an excellent high-quality service.

- Experience of Jack of all Trades

Jack of all Trades has successfully completed thousands of projects over the last 20 years,

similar to the projects you want completed. After we complete each project, we ask our clients

to fill out a survey reviewing our work. We have always had great reviews, with several of our

previous projects being for the city of Augusta, Oregon.

Here are some examples of work we have previously completed for Augusta, Oregon. We have

professionally landscaped the Augusta City Courthouse, Post Office, Saintsville Park, and

Augusta Country Club.

If asked, we have no problem relaying previous client information. During the survey process,

we have actually had clients tell us they would love to give reviews for us in the future. If you

are interested in this information, please contact Kyle George at 1 - 800 - 555 – 3921.

Staff Information: Jack of all trades currently has 40 employees. In order to keep things simple, we have split our

employees up into five groups of eight workers. This allows us to work on several different

projects, while still being able to complete them in a timely manner. Each group includes one

head management employee, and seven machine operators. Management level employees

have at least an associate degree in landscaping. Machine operators have at least a high school

diploma. All employees are required to pass a series of two tests. The first test required is a

safety test for all equipment and machinery, and the second test is a drug screen. These tests

were given to each employee on the day of hire, and can be given again at any time without

notice. If either tests is failed or refused, than the employee will be terminated immediately.

Our safety procedures and drug screening policies are very important to our company. We

believe that our work speaks for itself, and we cannot afford anything to disrupt that. We

believe that our employees are capable of providing the services that we require, and we are

grateful to have such dedicated employees.

Breakdown of the Proposal Landscaping Project:

Due to the location of these different projects, we are going to use different equipment for

each project. We feel like in order to complete the job to the best of our ability, we need to use

the equipment designed for that specific terrain. The result of using different equipment is that

each area will result in a different cost analysis. I am going to break down each project to show

the equipment used, and the estimated costs.

Route 24 Median and Sidings: (five miles)

- Equipment

For Route 24 median and sidings, we are going to use the 4000 series John Deere tractors for

the majority of the work. On these tractors, we are able to attach a grass mulching device that

essentially eliminates left over grass. These tractors were specifically designed for highway

usage, and are street legal. By using these tractors, we feel like we can provide a quality service

while drastically cutting back on labor charges. If necessary, we will also take care of any weeds,

edging, ect… to ensure the job is finished.

Here are pictures of our industrial size tractor mowers. These tractors allow us to mow large

areas in a short time frame.

- Estimated Costs

The costs of this project will consist of labor, tractor diesel, and weed eater fuel if necessary.

Labor charges are $85.00 per hour, $15.00 per management employee and $10.00 per machine

operator. Tractor Diesel is $3.50 per gallon, and we expect to use 25 gallons per hour. If we

have to use the Weed Eater or any other machinery, those costs will be covered.

Here is a table that shows individual weekly charges directly relating to the Route 24 median

and sidings. A table showing total charges will be shown later.

Estimated Charges Weekly Costs

Labor charges (1 * $15.00per hour) + (7 * $10.00per hour) * 9 hours = $765.00

Tractor Diesel (25 gallons * $3.50 per gallon) * 9 hours =$787.50

Total weekly Charges $1,552.50

Please keep in mind; these costs are estimated, and liable to change if necessary. However, in

20 years we have never underestimated a project.

Willoughby Park: (ten acres)

- Equipment

For Willoughby Park, we are going to use the Eztrak zero turn mower, E350 weed eater, and

P35 leaf blower for the majority of the work. The Eztrak zero turn mower works tremendously

well in park areas, they maneuver quickly, stop on a dime, and stay relevantly quite for

machinery of this size. The mowers have also been designed with a 360⁰ view, and an

automatic stopping device. We use the E350 weed eater as well as the P35 leaf blower, because

of their light weight and efficiency.

Here are pictures of our Eztrak Zero turn mower, the light weight E350 weed Easter, and

efficient P35 Leaf Blower. As you can see with these products we can provide a safe and

efficient service.

Estimated Costs

The costs of this project will consist of labor, gasoline, and weed eater fuel. Labor charges are

$85.00 per hour, $15.00 per management employee and $10.00 per machine operator.

Gasoline is $3.15 per gallon, and we expect to use 15 gallons per hour. The Weed Eater takes a

mixture of oil and gasoline for the fuel. We will already have the gasoline, but oil is $4.00 per

quart. We expect to use one quart of oil per hour.

Here is a table that shows individual weekly charges directly relating to Willoughby Park. A table

showing total charges will be shown later.

Estimated Charges Weekly Costs

Labor charges (1 * $15.00per hour) + (7 * $10.00per hour) * 12.5 hours = $1,062.50

Gasoline (15 gallons * $3.15 per gallon) * 12.5 hours = $590.63

Oil (1 quart * $4.00 per quart) *12.5 hours = $50.00

Total weekly Charges: $1703.13

Please keep, in mind these costs are estimated, and liable to change if necessary. However, in

20 years we have never underestimated a project.

Augusta Memorial Golf Course: (23 acres)

- Equipment

For the Augusta Memorial Golf Course, we are going to use the Eztrak zero turn mower for the

fairways and the 8500 E- Cut Hybrid for the greens. The Eztrak Zero turn mowers are very safe

and efficient. We prefer these machines over any other mowing device on the market. We just

recently started landscaping golf courses in early 2009, meaning the 8500 E-Cut Hybrid is

basically brand new. The 8500 E-Cut hybrid is also very fuel efficient, as described by the name

it is a hybrid machine. This will help to lower fuel costs for you, reduce our pollution, and satisfy

you with an end result. When deciding new purchases, we try to keep our clients in mind.

Here are pictures of our Eztrak Zero turn mower, and the professional grade 8500 E-Cut hybrid.

These products work tremendously well in areas such as the Memorial Golf Course. The 8500 E

Cut hybrid was purchased last year, and work great when used mowing greens.

The costs of this project will consist of labor, and gasoline for both mowers. Labor charges are

$85.00 per hour, $15.00 per management employee and $10.00 per machine operator.

Gasoline is $3.15 per gallon, and we expect to use 30 gallons per hour.

Here is a table that shows individual weekly charges directly relating to Augusta Memorial Golf

Course. A table showing total charges will be shown later.

Estimated Charges Weekly Costs

Labor charges (1 * $15.00per hour) + (7 * $10.00per hour) * 13 hours = $1,105.00

Gasoline (30 gallons * $3.15 per gallon) * 13 hours = $1,228.50

Total weekly Charges $2,333.50

Please keep in mind these costs are estimated, and liable to change if necessary. However, in 20

years we have never underestimated a project.

Total Project Costs:The agreement would be to mow all of these areas from May 30 through September 30. That is

a total of 16 weeks. This table clearly summarizes the project’s total costs, including the total

weekly, monthly, and ending costs.

Project: Route 24 median and Sidings

(5 miles)

Willoughby Park (10 acres)

Augusta Memorial Golf Course (23 acres)

Weekly Costs $1,552.50 $1703.13 $2,333.50

Monthly Costs

June (4 weeks) $6,210.00 $6,812.52 $9,334.00

July(4 weeks) $6,210.00 $6,812.52 $9,334.00

August(4 weeks) $6,210.00 $6,812.52 $9,334.00

September(4 weeks) $6,210.00 $6,812.52 $9,334.00

Ending Costs: $24,840.00 $27,250.08 $37,336

Total Estimated Project Cost: $89,426.08

This is a hard estimate that will not vary even if fuel costs rise, or extra labor is necessary. However, we

have occasionally over estimated the actual costs of past projects. If this happens to you, then we will

reimburse the downward difference at the end of the project.

The proposed schedule is listed above. However, we do not know what events will take place at

these locations between May 30, 2010, and September 30, 2010. This schedule is not set in

stone. If we are notified about an event for a specific area on a specific week, we will revise the

schedule so that we can finish that location first.

- For example : route 24 is having an Adopt a Highway Ceremony on Wednesday June 9, 2010. We would revise the proposed schedule. This ensures that highway looks its best for the ceremony.

Billing Statement: The project will start on May 30, 2010. On May 30, 2010, we will need $44,713.04 as half of the

total agreed projects cost. This $44,713.04 deposit gives us the finances to actually begin the

project, without it we will not start the project. The remaining $44,713.04 will be equally

divided up among the months of June, July, August, and September. Each $11,178.26 bill will be

expected the last day of each month. If the bill is late by more than five working days, then

there will be a $2,500 fine assessed unless prior negotiations have been made. If we have over

estimated the total project’s cost, then we will reimburse you on September 30, 2010, at the

end of the project.
