You have a small cigar box in which to work with.

There are two parts to this project.

1. What are you going to do with the physical box? Break it apart, stick things on it, will it stay open, how will you display it?

2. What meaning will the box have?How will you show meaning within this box, how will it reflect your personality, will there be things in it

Is your identity fixed by the country you live in, your ethnic background, your sex, your age. What makes you unique?

How to Start? Write a mind map, answering the questions

on “All about me” Investigate artists that say something to you. Look at assemblage artists, Zac

Freeman,Picasso, Louise Nevelson, Joseph Cornell.

Aim: To produce a minimum of 8 A3 sides of

initial ideas, artist’s research and development.

To complete the cigar box in a style that reflects themselves.
