Introduction
This course gives trainees to develop skills to initiate work, develop pattern, stitch garments, pack products & deliver to customers
well in time keeping health and safety measures. Students will improve the level of skills to work not only independently but will be
able to develop cottage industry or work in industry and increase the socio-economic potential of the country.
Industry will get creative workers whose scope with job knowledge and skills are identified. Assist in human resources development
by providing precise and assessed country’s skilled manpower quantitatively as well as able to develop own business.
Overall objective of the Course
The objectives of this course are to:
Acquire the skill and knowledge of Dress Maker alongwith minor maintenance of machine.
Qualitative production of the garments.
Produce skilled manpower for dress making cottage/Industry in the field of dress making.
Improve the level of skill of workers in cottage/ industry and increase the economic potential of the country.
Provide industry with workers whose scope with job knowledge and skills are identified.
Assist in human resources development by providing precise and assessed country’s skilled manpower quantitatively as well
as qualitatively.
Provide technical and vocational training which reflects the requirements of cottage/industry.
