1. GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR SWITCHING VALVES

Valve assembly to be furnished in accordance with the following documents:

a. 008364-TS-M001 - Functional Specification

b. 008364-SG-M001 General Facility Piping and Valve Specification

c. 008364-SG-M015 - General Specification - Painting, Galvanizing and Coatings

Vendor shall comply with attached applicable specification (s). Any exceptions shall be clearly stated in the quote.

All equipment shall be suitable for Class 1 Division 2, Group C&D.

Vendor shall provide a corrosion resistant, weatherproof limit switch assembly affixed to the valve with position indicator,

and switches as indicated on the specification sheet.

Vendor to supply 4-way dual coil S.S solenoid valves that are explosion proof, molded-type, heavy duty coil. The

solenoid valve wiring shall be terminated in the limit switch termination box.

Switching valves shall be of the "Firesafe" design, and tested in accordance to API 6D

Switching valves shall have the shut-off class designated on line 17 of the data sheet.

Vendor shall provide complete documents listed in the "Vendor Data Requirement" form attached with the quote inquiry.

Vendor shall supply each valve with a permanently attached stamped stainless steel tag including valve tag number,

manufactures name, valve serial number, maximum body pressure, and body material.

All air supply tubing shall be 304 SS seamless with 0.035" wall thickness, and a minimum of O.D of 3/8"

Vendor shall provide protection adequate for shipment and storage of instruments. All openings and exposed parts shall

be protected so as to prevent debris from entering. All flanges and threaded connections shall be protected against

damage using wood, steel, and/or plastic protectors.
